After 2 years of mostly flawless fun, we traded our Giulia in on a Stelvio TI!

5 Jun

Software upgrade to the Quadrifoglio now opens exhaust valves in Dynamic mode so loving the sound more.

Electronics: The screen is on the small side which isn't really an issue except for the backup camera.

buttons in the center console, but after some time, I find I actually prefer the Stelvio's controls since they are easier to reach and the screen isn't covered with fingerprints.

5 Jan

Resolution of the screen is not the best

11 Jan

Downside is the Gera shifter is a little cheap felling and the brakes take a little getting used to

3 Oct

With the metallic black paint, yellow brake calipers and 20” five hole wheels, it looks exotic and stands out from the more sedate competition.

16 Sep

engine and as some reviews have said the brake feel is a bit odd -

14 Sep

I have no complaints regarding performance of the engine, transmission, handling or brakes, they all respond to make the drive thrilling.

5 Jun

Bucket seats, precision handling, firm suspension, great road feel, sharp brakes, and that engine/exhaust noise.

5 Feb

There is a learning curve --- the brakes did feel grabby to me at the start

15 Apr

Im still getting used to the breaks vs transmission downshifts when coming to a full stop.

7 Jun

The infotainment is subpar and the only trim that offers increased power and performance is double the cost.

This model is a sleeper unless you know what the four leaf clover badges on the front fenders mean.

There was an issue with the front bumper fit and finish that was resolved under warranty,

Number plate installed in the wrong place and warning sound all the time, since been relocated and now have a hole in the fender.

26 Jul

Maybe, maybe not I simply have more fun in a way I can't articulate in the Giulia.

18 Mar

If you have passion for driving , Giulia TI Sport is the best choice .

17 Mar

After testing driving Mercedes c45 AMG and BMW , Giulia is still the best for precise steering and braking .

14 Jan

The Alfa Romeo giulia is an amazing looking, amazing handling, very powerful engine, and it does not come with a ridiculous price tag.

24 Mar

Giulia is more fun, and the steering balance is fantastic.

20 Jan

The Giulia handles and drives more like my E90 BMW and is so much more responsive, fun to drive and comfortable than my F30 BMW 340i.

20 Dec

I refer to my Giulia as the poor man's Maserati, because the car is just that good.

21 Jun

They are German and Japanese car specialists and were convinced the Alfa Giulia is the steal of the century.

16 Feb

giulia sport ti is awesome car.

26 Dec

The Alfa Romeo Giulia is by far the best car I have ever purchased, driven, and ridden in.

5 Jul

At that time I owened a Maserati Granturismo, now also own a Aston Martin Vantage V12 S. You wont be disappointed with the Alfa folks, my Guilia Quadrifoglio is such a joy I plan on never selling it!

24 Dec

And, oh by the way, the Montecarlo Blu on my Quadrifoglio has a depth and sparkle beyond any other blue that I've seen on any other car on the road -- again more like a super-exotic than others in the class, and the comments of strangers confirm this.

30 Jun

I would say if you own a Quadrifoglio you would agree that it feels more like a $200,000 car than an $85,000 car.

29 Dec

but too much road noise.

19 Sep

Not single issue (not even a squeak) after 2-1/2 years and 20 K miles of driving.

23 Jan

My main gripe is that the window switches on the driver's side door rattle when I crank the volume on the radio.

21 Jun

There are a few rattles on the interior, I just don’t care!

16 Mar

Other models of cars we tested (BMW; Mercedes Benz, Audi) were sluggish, noisy, not fun to drive, and felt old (like something an old person would drive).

11 Feb

Fit and finish could be improved such as having interior squeeks and rattles from the upgraded stereo.

13 Jul

Not a squeak, smell or rattle.

30 Jul

It makes your head shake.

25 Aug

Never have had a warranty issue

13 Jul

Only issue I’ve had is a rear caliper locking up and wearing a brake pad too much - fixed by warranty at a dealership.

2 Dec

The WORST is the lack of integrity of the body -- the front bumper disengaged -- Alfa Customer Service insisted that scratches on the bottom (it's a low car) voided any warranty; I discovered my friend has the same problem.

26 Mar

The warranty therefore is useless.

20 Apr

but the Giulia has been less problematic and much more enjoyable overall!

15 Jul

The Alfa Romeo Giulia (AKA Alfa 952) is a sweetheart on the road, making the most of what may seem like modest power ( 280 HP/.

24 Mar

Giulia is more fun, and the steering balance is fantastic.

31 Jan

The 2017 Alfa Romeo Giulia TI I own is more comfortable and handles better than all of them.

20 Jan

The Giulia handles and drives more like my E90 BMW and is so much more responsive, fun to drive and comfortable than my F30 BMW 340i.

Update: Now owning the Giulia Quadrifoglio for 2 years, I have to say it's still a fantastic car.

15 Dec

but this Giulia has me loving the Italian cars once again.

4 Oct

And if you don't enjoy driving, the Giulia will probably change that!

6 Aug

Basically Giulia has everything a racing car should have except its a 4-door sedan.

The Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio is super fun to drive.

Inside, regardless if you go with the standard sedan, opt for the Ti Lusso or Sport or go all out with the Quadrifoglio, you will be amazed at the level of refinement and comfort.

14 Apr

Having mashed the gas from a complete stop in Normal mode (without launch control), the Giulia Quadrifoglio warped from 0-60 in under 4 seconds.

19 Sep

Not single issue (not even a squeak) after 2-1/2 years and 20 K miles of driving.

9 Sep

Runflat tires don;t last and noisy.

5 Sep

I've had a minor rattle coming from the passenger area that the dealer can't find.

30 Apr

There is a noise in my power steering at low speeds.

1 Jan

With just over 50,000 miles on the odometer, I can only complain about squeaky brakes when they're cold.

12 Oct

There is a strange noise in the steering.

29 Nov

Excessive wind noise with sunroof.

29 Nov

Models with a sunroof have excessive wind noise.

2 Aug

However, even on low speeds the fan noise is excessive – like a budget car.

30 May

Proud owner with over 5,000 miles on it and no mechanical problems or squeaks or rattles.

21 Dec

I love love my carbon seat Sparco seats with the Alfa logo and CC brakes. Only minus is that some plastic can feel cheap at touch (see door panels) and YOU CAN'T HAVE PIRELLI CORSA on this car, without breaking any law :-)

23 Nov

I have a size 14 shoe so I have to take my shoes off when driving or my feet will not fit I will end up pushing gas and brake at the same time.

5 Oct

The infotainment system is terrible & the drive-by-wire brakes are annoying.

5 Sep

My only complaints are that brake pedal feel is a bit dull at low speeds (typical for brake by wire) and the turbo lag is noticeable under 1,500rpms.

1 Jan

With just over 50,000 miles on the odometer, I can only complain about squeaky brakes when they're cold.

2 Jul

I have seen the previous two reviews and find them a little hard to believe especially the brake issue.

2 Aug

The engine stop/start feature doesn’t have a hill holder so even on the slightest of inclines the car begins to roll backwards upon releasing the brake pedal – before the engine starts and engages transmission.

14 Apr

What I did notice is that the brake pedal is too far to the left of the gas pedal, you almost have to plan to reach it, not very ergonomic placement.

14 Sep

Fast forward a few more weeks, and my right headlight stops working.

6 Mar

I have 5500 miles on it so far and only a minor issue with a service light that the dealership fixed right away.

12 Nov

Be aware of lights showing up, does not start at times, many trips at the dealership .

1 Jan

Something made it trigger the air bag warning light.

6 Aug

Turn signal switch, headlight/windshield wiper switch feel cheap.

25 Jun

Constant software updates, headlights needing replacement because they wont level.

18 Oct

When the headlights were replaced the service advisor and i heard a knocking sound coming from the engine.

27 Sep

Then around 4,500 mile it started acting up, shimming and shaking, it went into the shop eight times and lights kept coming on and it would lose performance.

5 Sep

My only complaints are that brake pedal feel is a bit dull at low speeds (typical for brake by wire) and the turbo lag is noticeable under 1,500rpms.

3 Sep

I love the way this Giulia performs/responds when I press the pedal and I don’t have to put in Sport mode

9 Mar

Really responsive, some lurches with the auto transmission during gear shifts, gas peddle is sensitive

26 Aug

I recommend any one to buy this amazing car, I'm so happy with my Alfa Romeo Giulia, I don't have any complain about this car.

22 Aug

This Alfa Giulia is an amazing vehicle and the way the car drives is much better than the Audi, Jaguar, or Mercedes-Benz I test drove.

18 Aug

My Alfa Romeo Giulia is amazing; the styling, technology, features, performance and reliability are leading in its class and everything I was looking for.
