You can't as a driver or passenger drive or ride with headrests in their cocked position. OUCH!

The car rides very smooth and handles well.

It has plenty of leg room in the front and back and the ride is excellent.

2019 Mitsubishi Outlander

I have been the driver, the front seat passenger and the back seat passenger.

If an adult sits back there it is not comfortable to be in back seat at all even if you pull middle seats up.

though cruise control seemed to upset the transmission (jumped between gears a bit, even on flat roads), so I drove without it.

Finally got to test it in some real snow (8") this past week and performed admirably
- air vents to the second row seats (only in 2019 and newer) = less complaining from the kids
- Price is very reasonable, and they seem likely to be reliable?

I find the front seats comfortable and it was easy to fit two cars seats in the second row, the third row is a bit cramped

It’s the worst machine I ever had , this is my 3rd SUV , I have no control over vehicle I took it to dealer had new electric steering put in never changed it a bit

The first problem was defected engine control unit that cause the car battery to drain.

The steering seemed a bit heavy on rough dirt gravel roads

Has secret storage in rear, able to keep gear in that space, outlet in the back too, little features that are cool.

Having reviewed many options finally narrowed my choice down to the Outlander and one other unnamed vehicle.

A lot of room, very comfortable, sporty looking, great gas mileage, all wrapped up in one package!!

i have also owned 2 Diamantes and have never had a serious issue with any of these cars For us having a good a/c and comfortable seats are most important as well as safety items and they are great Just wished it had a front drive crash avoidance option.

Great size suv, love all the new features,  interior is great and it saves me money on gas,  plenty of space and the trunk space is great for all the groceries

This SUV is really comfortable to drive for my daily commute (~40 miles&#47;day) with convenient features to make the drive easier (parking assistant, ApplePlay, etc.).

but I really like it a lot performance and amenities in the vehicle are nice to very nice

Other than that the technology, gas mileage, style and options, and reliability are a great value for your money.

So many safety features, great gas mileage, and very good interior quality within the price range.

So far, this vehicle is good on gas, comfortable and controls are driver-friendly (to me).

Gas Mileage has been accurate, averaging about 30 MPG on the highway.

but has a 6 cylinder engine but it looks great, but the premium fuel is a deal killer, as is the awd for where we live.

Easily while maintaining good fuel mileage.

Went with se trim with smaller motor and glad i did excellent fuel mileage and love heated seats, sunroof,  push

We live in an area where the infrastructure for EV is rapidly improving, it has saved me a lot of gas money.

2019 Toyota Avalon

noise

Never had a new car that did not need to go in for rattles and squeaks my new Avalon drives like a dream happy to have switched from GM product.

The flaw is a significant, sporadic wind and road noise on the driver’s side and when driving over 50 miles per hour it gets louder as your speed increases.

At speeds above 75 mph a low grade vibration sound can be heard on the left side of the vehicle.

Also the lane change vibration does not work.

However, the cross-wind rattle "noise" that many have complained about really let's the car down.

At this time Toyota is unwilling to do anything about the noise issue Hence we would be reluctant to recommend.

exhaust

Also find the exhaust a little loud for my liking.

Exhaust note is too loud in any mode and bothersome for this type of vehicle.

Love hearing the exhaust note when starting the engine and accelerating on the highway.

Now there is a large bump in the back seat floor, no reclining back seats, no automatic wipers, no back window shade, not even a sunglasses compartment.

No rain-sensing wipers, no rear window shade, cheap tires (Hankook), no wood-grain steering wheel, no CD player, Toyota Entune seems to be a gimmick to get you to pay money to "subscribe".

The ride is about the same, the back seat leg room seems less and the body style is not as nice as the one it replaces.

The driver side windshield wiper scraped the back of the hood when I tried to clean the windshield.

Your friends will want to ride with you, think of this as a four seater with room for folks up to 6'5" or so, test that one if you are tall or your friends.

Everyone comments on my new 2019 Toyota Avalon / best looking car / looks like the bat mobile / a sport sedan that is sporty with a 301 hp, 8 speed paddle shifters, safe with many features: air bags, many warning safety features and many luxurious features such as heated seats, sun roof, electric seats with lumbar support - a perfectly designed car.

The Avalon is exceptionally comfortable; A notable example is the seats which are wonderful supportive, and well bolstered.

This is one of the best vehicles overwhelmed and believe me I am mini comfortable the design is wonderful it’s responsible for handling is above anything that Toyota has as far as I’m concerned

I have a fully loaded Touring and this car I have really enjoyed driving and is super comfortable and powerful.

Plus the maintenance is half of BMW’s and has all the same features.

2018 Mazda CX-9

It doesn't look like a typical 7 seater and it definitely does not drive like one!

It I got a bonus with electric everything.

The safety features and driving aids work perfectly and aren’t obtrusive or distracting.

Luxurious interior better performance and gas mileage .Handles  like a sports car and plenty of standard options!

This car has met all our needs; lots of leg room, head room, super comfortable and the safety features are very reassuring!

but for the money the CX9 is the better option.

My  Mazda Signature is a twofer, very best for every day use and as well as a towing vehicle for my Airstream Sport 16 trailer.Glad I did not go the F 150,Ram or Tundra route that cannot compete with the Mazda Signature SUV attributes, higher MPG,250 HP option with high test petrol,Apple Play, adaptive cruise control down to 1 MPH ,luxury interior as good as BMW,Audi,Mercedes, et al.

Don’t get me wrong, the feature is fine, I really don’t pay attention to it and don’t find it useful.

It is very comfortable, comes with almost all safety features, and is the perfect family vehicle.

Upgraded from a  2019 CX-5 to the 9 because of the size and family comfort.

It is the most comfortable car with the best pickup of any car I've owned.

I like the interior features and the CX9 drives well, more like a sedan than SUV.

We bought the Signature model and the interior is extremely well designed and appointed.

5)	Rides well – takes bumps very nicely and is, for the most part, quiet inside.

Bought this SUV, trading in Dodge durango 2015, this is the most beautiful crossover, exterior and interior design is at par with most of the luxury brand.

I haven't had any issues, gets great gas mileage, it's fast and performes better-than-expected.. And it's great looking inside and out loaded with all the high-tech features you could ask for it practically drives itself.

2018 Chevrolet Equinox

There is very little engine or road noise.

but there is a slight rattle that we have not been able to resolve, and the engine has a high-pitched noise at times in 20-45 mph range.

After the first 4 or 5 months it developed an annoying vibration at speeds about 30 mph, felt like driving on a bumpy road at lower speeds, a vibration at freeway speeds.

Both lift gates rattle when u reach 60 mph.

The trailer hitch cover will not stay on even after it has been replaced with a new one and car has rattles that they try and fix every time we carry it in.

it's very noisy, when I driving it I hear some noises from dashboard and doors!

My only complaint is a strange noise every once in a while driving highway speeds every once in a while a fluttering sound comes from under the car ?? ?

Compared to it, the new model is noisier (wind & road noise),  noticeably smaller, not nearly as comfortable (horrible seats) and a very plain instrument panel.

Bad blindspot on passenger side looking out windshield.

Fuel system replaced, back wiper and numerous system/fuse issues.

It reflect light and makes driving with the wipers on, regretful.

I dont like the head lights  very very unsafe at night you can not see the hole road looks like some one pulled a black curtain down half way down the windshield half of windshied is black was told by Don halls chev can not fix them

Windows fog up quickly and have to change to windshield only.

Heated steering wheel n if you are too close to the car in front of you a red warning sign shows up on the windshield.

but I would avoid anything more than a rough and rutted dirt road, since the approach, break over and departure angles seem sketchy and there’s no locking differential either.

Car rolls when put in park and brakes are released forward and backwards depending on the pitch of the road car leaps off the line when  i am at red light and release the brake to engage the auto start it drives off in the forward direction unless i very quickly depress the brake pedal

Have 70000 miles on car and now broke down motor gone due to vacuum pump for brakes failing

Horrible car with roughly 40,000 miles my wife was driving it and out of nowhere she lost all breaks couldn’t stop coming to her exit, she pulled off after finally getting it to stop turned the car off and wouldn’t turn back on.

Hate the engine shutdown crap at red lights, I just pump the brakes .

I like the fact it shut off when I brake, to dave gas.

Also, who puts a rocker switch as a manual gear shifter on the transmission handle?

Just one thing, the gear shifts could be better positioned.

failure

Have experienced so many mechanical failures that either should never have happened or shouldn’t be happening so soon in the vehicle’s life.

but after the vehicle already failed us and had to be trailered to the dealership because it died in my driveway and we could not turn the vehicle OFF.

Like electric driver's seat to lower and move back, easier to get out of.

Steering as good as it gets for electric.

Front passenger seat not that comfortable.

For a first SUV, it’s got a comfortable ride height and great handling.

Came out of a Jeep Wrangler and the equinox is such a smooth and comfortable ride.

but once she fixed that and was able to get the seat where I could feel comfortable!!!

There's plenty of cargo space, comfortable room in the back, good handling and quiet to drive.

This equinox is more comfortable and rides excellent on the road with lots of features much better than the 2010 equinox I used to own

Besides the spacious cabin, 6 USB ports, and rear storage; my car is loaded with features.

I love all the wonderful features on this vehicle , the fuel economy was the very first thing I noticed after driving an 09 for so long.

Comfortable, roomy, easy to handle, and the features are great!

2018 Toyota Prius Prime

Lack of rear wiper because of concave window sucks in snow.

The Prius  bottom plastic shield was ripped and the rear swing arm was hit.

Only cons are that there's no middle seat in the back row for the 2018 and it rides very low, so you have to really watch out for speed bumps, pot holes, and curbs.

but if I am careful with my acceleration, I can get back and forth to work two days in a row before needing to charge the car again (a process that takes just 5 hours).

Features that I have found to be helpful : The radar controlled cruise control that adjusts speed when someone going slower than your set speed is in front of you, Blind Spot notification, Charging timer that lets you set it to charge overnight only when electricity is super cheap, The Entune app that lets me see where my car is - how much charge it has- turn on the AC or defrost/heat prior to getting to the car , 3 year free roadside emergency service, Driving training displays that show you exactly how to be a better driver for mpg and battery miles,  the HUD on the advanced trim that shows you the current speed limit - Training tool- speed your going etc.

You also loose a seat ( the prime is a 4 seater ) for no apparent reason and the boot is much smaller .

Toyota makes it really easy to go partially electric, and I still have the comfort of a gas tank for backup and longer trips.

I drive more short trips on electric only so my MPGe is 160 for this total distance.

Surprisingly good snow handling due to precision of electric drive.

Window sticker touts 133 mpg  on combined electric and hybrid and 54 mpg on just hybrid with this vehicle.

It is so much fun and a challenge to go on electric for as long as possible.

The electric motor very peppy, the ride very comfortable, the instrument panel easy to read, and the controls pretty easy to use.

The electric engine has great power and the car handles great.

And it does great on the highway and on long trips - getting 50 to 60 mpg on gas alone.

but if you owned one you'd be awfully happy about how little you spend on gas and maintenance.

The gas engine leaves a lot to be desired.
