12 Mar

But The drivers seat was fully adjustable and I found the sweet spot.

22 Oct

In addition, this is the most comfortable ride I've had and the features such as adjustable seats, dual temp controls, and Bluetooth voice activation make this a great place to spend my time.

28 Aug

I like the easy fuel method the extra long windshield wipers and the auto adjustable driver's seat

18 Jun

Comfortable adjustable back seats w/good view.

30 May

It meets my needs in economy, style and performance - easy to drive and is very comfortable especially with adjustable seats.

15 Apr

It has good cargo space, is very comfortable to drive/ride and good visibility - important for me since I am under 5 feet tall and not many cars "fit" me so that I can reach the pedals and see well too.

21 Feb

though it's an I-4, it has the 2.0L turbo and every one of those 240 horses show their power when you touch the gas pedal.

25 Aug

I do not care for the height of the accelerator pedal compared to the brake-shouldn't have to lift my entire leg to make the motion to stop.

17 May

The seat have lumbar comfort of a luxury car.

12 Sep

We liked the comfortable heated seats and how the back seat went down to create plenty of space for cargo.

2 Jun

This car met all my needs very comfortable best car I’ve ever owned drives smooth great on the road and interior is nice too would recommend this car to my family and friends fur sure.

20 May

but once inside you find yourself in comfort .

20 May

but once inside you find yourself in comfort .

20 May

but once inside you find yourself in comfort .

3 Apr

The seats are comfortable and it has plenty of passenger and cargo room.

31 Jan

This is a well made vehicle with the best in comfort and lots of room to travel comfortably .

18 Jan

I love the features and it is a very comfortable ride.

17 Dec

but in the future it would help Ford a great deal to focus on the comfort of the seating.

15 Jan

Car vas driving very good and it was good on gas .

12 Apr

The gas mileage is good.

7 Feb

Fuel economy, features, handling, cargo capacity all favorable.

2 Feb

It's better than expected and has alot of features Great on gas and drives really smooth.

24 Jan

Easy on gas.

4 Jan

Gas mileage is about 28 on mostly highway driving.

13 Jun

Good gas mileage .

18 Jan

It gets great gas mileage too.

5 Jan

This car is the closest feel to a sedan, gets better gas mileage and performance than an Equinox,

17 Dec

You sit up above traffic compared to a standard sedan and still get excellent gas mileage for commuting.

12 Apr

The gas mileage is good.

4 Jan

Gas mileage is about 28 on mostly highway driving.

13 Jun

Good gas mileage .

31 Jan

Running roughly 29-31 mpg for lifetime of ownership.

28 Jan

Mileage wise, not bad.

18 Jan

It gets great gas mileage too.

5 Jan

This car is the closest feel to a sedan, gets better gas mileage and performance than an Equinox,

17 Dec

You sit up above traffic compared to a standard sedan and still get excellent gas mileage for commuting.

4 Nov

The gas mileage is great, the motor is plenty of power for the highway and mountains.

4 Oct

but gets great gas mileage and has a great look to it.

11 Oct

This car has a known design flaw that causes coolant to leak into a cylinder ( the #3 is the most common) leading to cracking the block and requiring a new engine.

23 Feb

It's noisy with wind noise on the freeway.

18 Feb

My Escape is wonderful, except for a constant, bothersome buzz from the center console.

25 Sep

I'm rather disappointed in myself for not investigating the problem with highway speed wind noise.

26 Jul

Steers different, very responsive.Road noise not as good as other cars I have ridden in.

17 Jul

Big ome is both front doors have to have the hinges replaced, they squeak during open or close.

12 Jun

N/A

26 May

The front windshield has a humming vibration when driving into the wind.

28 Dec

N/A

23 Oct

It is rattle and squeak free.

12 Sep

22 Jun

I also had to replace the transmission.

5 Jan

Additionally, there is no transmission fluid dipstick and thus it is tricky and expensive to have transmission fluid checked - which becomes necessary if buying these cars used.

22 Oct

Worked great and then three months after I paid it off, the transmission completely failed.

14 Aug

I bought my escape late Sept. 2019, didnt have it not even 24 hours transmission went out, well the dealership installs another one, that had 44,000 miles on it "used", it had 119,000 miles on it of course some stuff goes bad,

14 Apr

The transmission broke very expensive repair.

31 Jan

Work done on it includes brakes, coolant change, transmission fluid change, spark plugs and coils.

18 Sep

I absolutely loved the car until I didn't due to severe transmission issue.

13 Jun

Transmission repair at 11,000 miles and 18,000 miles.

20 Jun

Transmission should not break at 88,000 miles.

22 Oct

This is obviously a manufacturer defect and should be recalled.

5 Oct

Ford needs to recall the motor - mechanics have said ecoboost engine has major design issues and is the problem with car.

13 Jul

1 - the battery that came with the (remember it's used) vehicle was already beginning to fail when I got it, and it is not the most user friendly of batteries to get to for a jump.

29 Aug

While I appreciate that the manufacturer issued the safety recalls, I think that their quality control is lacking and could have avoided these recalls.

4 Jan

20 bucks fulls the tank.

13 May

Gas mileage is ok, gas tank is too small.

30 Oct

My only complaint, the gas tank is small and I'm not used to that.

26 Jun

but the gas tank is much smaller than expected.

15 Oct

I would like to have a slightly larger fuel tank even if only one or two gallons more.

29 Jul

The gas tank is small and requires frequent fill ups.

18 Nov

We have never had any major issues with the cars.. except for a 2016 recall on the latches on the tailgates where they would not close properly.. causing the power tailgate to open again at low speeds.

25 Sep

I'm rather disappointed in myself for not investigating the problem with highway speed wind noise.

6 Apr

the first is merging into traffic on freeway it doesn't want to pick up speed while merging, secondly it will cut completely off coming off freeway and quick stops.

28 Dec

N/A

24 Sep

but the engine felt like it was straining any time it was asked to step up, even in relatively low speed situations.

16 Aug

My main complaint is the front-end rattling/knocking noise that comes up through the steering column as you pass low speed over minor bumps.

15 Mar

Love the adjustable foot pedals, steering wheel controls and large screen.

30 Sep

It seems like the Pathfinders all come with a roof rack with adjustable crossbars and a trailer hitch and lights.

10 Sep

The adjustable pedals and power driver's seat help with both of us driving this vehicle.

15 Mar

Love the adjustable foot pedals, steering wheel controls and large screen.

2 Nov

The 310 HP and 388 FT/LB Torque you can feel when the gas pedal is dropped to the floor.

10 Oct

It has noticeable upshifts and downshifts, changes when I press or release gas pedal just right above 40 mph. This is very annoying if you are driving in town.

10 Sep

The adjustable pedals and power driver's seat help with both of us driving this vehicle.

7 Mar

In conclusion, if you want an R51 Pathfinder, I would steer towards the 2012 pathfinder, as that has more features whilst having the same design.

30 Sep

It's a pleasure to drive and the features are great.

28 Jun

Handling overall is very good and body roll is minimized by active safety features.

30 Sep

but at least there is an option to carry 6 passengers in addition to the driver.

19 Aug

The LE also has the navigation and DVD package.

31 Jan

All the instrument features are intuitive and extremely eay to use, no need to reference the owners manual.

19 Jan

Awesome features.

26 Sep

If you can get past all of these issues, it does get ok milage for a v8 and it is very fast with lots of options.

12 Jan

but has no options.

10 Dec

Despite having a great engine and nice options, it was really a problem.

18 May

kids love it confortable Working perfect A lot power and multi utilities .

30 Sep

but aside from raw power this thing is refined and puts around just fine.

15 Mar

Multi-directional power front seat for comfort.

4 Feb

power, room, tech, and comfort all in one.

28 Jun

Highway handling is good while towing anything and the 4.0 L V6 Engine has the power and torque to do the job for most anything up to about 5800 lbs.

7 Jan

The only performance issue I have had with it is towing my pop up trailer in the mountains or up hills not enough power.

5 Dec

Lots of power.

23 Oct

I like the Engine Power of SUV no Question ask.

6 Nov

It has so much power and the options are amazing.

31 Oct

The pathfinder had more power than any v8 out there.

7 Mar

Front row seating room is great, the middle row is okay for adults

17 Aug

Lots of room for people and things.

6 Mar

It's got a lot of room where my kids can be separated on long trips and have no fighting.

18 Feb

Tons of interior space and comfortable cockpit.

4 Feb

power, room, tech, and comfort all in one.

30 Sep

Inside spaces and features are plentiful and well done.

19 Jan

Plenty of space inside.

6 Nov

The patty has more space, more power, more options. The v8 can tow anything and great for on and off road.

28 Oct

At 6'4" head room is ok, better than most other SUV's.

25 Oct

Just the right space inside and out.

4 Apr

but it squeaks, drives rough and didn't smell very good.

31 Dec

Had a 2003 Explorer previously and the Pathfinder is night and day better - more solid, no little noises, no minor or major repairs, etc.

2 Nov

It has 42K on it and has no squeaks or rattles.

28 Oct

but this clicking noise it getting to me!

26 Sep

Cons: (there are a lot) cheap dash and door panels, rattles everwhere, cheap paint that scatches and bumpers that don't match the body paint, uncomfortable cheap leather seats, very tiny back seat and the third row seat is a joke.

21 Apr

Nissan says there is a lot of plastic and I should "learn to live with the noise"!

12 Jan

It squeaked rattled and steering and handling was horrible.

10 Dec

I took it on a dirt road and thought it was going to fall apart, it rattled so bad.

7 Dec

Brand new and it rattles and squeaks.

2 Oct

The engine is noisy and unrefined.

1 Mar

When the radiator held pressure, I knew the transmission was fine so I had my mechanic replace the factory radiator with an after market.

25 May

The radiator will crack and leak into the transmission fluid which in turn will shut the car down and it won't start.

31 Dec

I wouldn't buy another simply because I'm not a fan of the CVT transmissions.

30 Oct

All these Nissan SUV's had a major problem with the transmission cooler inside the radiator leaking and result being destruction of the transmission.

24 Aug

Regarding MPG on my 2008 Pathfinder S 4x4 with automatic transmission.

10 Dec

It rattled bad and it took for ever for the transmission to shift up.

25 Oct

The seats were small, had no options, horrible stereo and the transmission in the 4 runner would burn up every time I went up the mountain passed.

2 Oct

The transmission occasionally shifts slowly or roughly and makes we wonder how many problems it will have down the road.

13 Aug

My 4 runner was junk and the tranmission would burn up on the highway.

13 Jun

however, I keep reading these complaints about how there is dissatisfaction with the overdrive or shifting at approx 35 to 45 mph.

7 Mar

but on the interior side the LCD randomly died and the heated steering wheel stopped working.

21 Apr

N/A

12 Jan

It squeaked rattled and steering and handling was horrible.

1 May

after taking it for off road for the first time even it was smooth ride on sand the steering axcel became noisy, they fixed it, now it came again, i think it is a week point in it.

7 Sep

but after about 4k miles, you'll notice a very pronounced vibration in the steering at highway speeds.

7 Mar

although paint chips happen over time and those chips are starting to show rust marks.

26 Sep

Cons: (there are a lot) cheap dash and door panels, rattles everwhere, cheap paint that scatches and bumpers that don't match the body paint, uncomfortable cheap leather seats, very tiny back seat and the third row seat is a joke.

16 Apr

This jeep met my needs I wanted something that I could drive in any weather condition and made decent gas mileage and couldnt complain.

11 Apr

As my daily driver it's been more than reliable and did extremely well on gas considering it is an 8cylinder.

13 Mar

It has the 3.7l gas engine and we haven't had an issue at all with it!

11 Feb

but good for long miles with the fuel saver getting me upwards of 22 mpg on the freeway.

28 Apr

The performance (gas mileage) leaves a bit to be desired,

9 Dec

It gets decent gas mileage for an AWD, I knew going into the purchase that Jeeps aren't known for their gas mileage

29 Sep

It drives great, looks great, has all the features I wanted, and I got it for so much less than the over-priced import SUV's out there.

12 Aug

My only two complaints are uncomfortable amount of space for passengers in the back seat if they are not children.

16 Mar

THE 2008 model, could use a lot more room for our 2 children.

12 Dec

However, we have two small children that are both in car seats and it is pretty cramped in the backseat for them.

12 Aug

My only two complaints are uncomfortable amount of space for passengers in the back seat if they are not children.

13 Sep

There isn't a ton of head room and the backseat leg room is a little short

8 Feb

I wish the back seat had more leg room for my son though.

12 Dec

However, we have two small children that are both in car seats and it is pretty cramped in the backseat for them.

4 Feb

This car has poor mpg and the cab noise is almost unbearable.

12 Aug

but Zero noise when traveling faster then 15mph even with the windows down.

28 Dec

The adjustable suspension and stereo are amazing.

10 Dec

The 4C adjustable suspension is a marvel, great technology.

5 Apr

Great seats, and the adjustable suspension really works.

15 Aug

The BEST feature is the adjustable suspension, which has 3 positions: Comfort, Sport, amd Agreesive, which increase suspension stiffness and enhance handling further!

20 Jan

but you get perfect cornering and faster acceleration with the drive-by-wire gas pedal.

6 Nov

Also, it is important to have the foot on the entire accelerator pedal for best results.

11 Nov

I enjoy the interior comfort, and the turbocharged engine, which really jumps when you punch the pedal.

27 Oct

The seats are comfortable and it's been reliable compared to the German offerings.

19 May

The S60 is comfortable, dependable, and surprisingly fast.

24 Jan

The seats are maximally comfortable.

22 Oct

Have owned this car for 13 years now and the power, ride, seat comfort and quality are excellent.

29 Apr

lots of room for a 6'5 guy and the interior is well appointed and very comfortable.

11 Mar

Perfect to drive, comfortable, safe and reliable.

30 Dec

The front seats are super comfortable,

18 Dec

The comfort is better than my parents brand new 2018 car and even so this car has been better in almost every way.

11 Feb

The leather seats are really comfortable and you get a lot of adjustments including lumbar support for front, and they don't look too bad for the age (just a few aesthetic cracks).

25 Sep

The seats are hands down the most comfortable seats I have ever sat in.

30 Nov

The S60 is fun and always provides more than adequate passing power and regular driving power.

27 Oct

(Most front-wheel drive cars don't have torque steer because they don't have a much horse power as the T5 does.)

24 Jan

Power is exceptional: there is a slight turbo lag and then the thing takes off like a jado unit.

22 Oct

Have owned this car for 13 years now and the power, ride, seat comfort and quality are excellent.

29 Apr

smooth ride with enough power to gets out of its own way and has great gas mileage to boot

The S60 is reliable, comfortable and fun to drive.

26 Dec

I am in the insurance business and us the car for work and pleasure.

8 Sep

It is a pleasure to drive and the Dolby Pro-Logic II stereo sounds great!

20 Apr

I love this Volvo - it's quick, FUN to drive, yet has a feeling of sophistication and sexy!

18 Jan

but it is amazingly fun to drive.

29 Nov

Have had several Volvo's over the years and the S60R is by far the most fun to drive.

9 Feb

The ride is marginal and lots of rattles and broken plastic in the cab.

30 Dec

Also, the interior tends to develop rattles and squeaks and wears out despite it's high quality appearance.

11 Feb

It rattles a bit in my car and some carpeting on the front pillars are peeling off,

7 Jul

This car does have a few minor annoyances, like the wood steering wheel has started to crack at the top (just surface cracks), and there are a few rattles from the dash when small bumps are hit.

11 Aug

The stability control isn't as refined as Euro cars-- it uses the brakes to re-balance the car, which is noisy and un-nerving.

28 Dec

This car is FAST and makes the noise of 1/2 a Lamborghini Gallardo.

19 Sep

Too many rattles at first, spare tire won't stay put and the fit/finish horrible.

19 Oct

Here are the major issues I have found with this car: poor turning radius, loud engine noise, very rough ride and between 50 - 60 mph the car struggles with what the right shift should be so the steering wheel vibrates ever so slightly.

24 Jan

I have changed the timing belt and tensioner, the tires and the battery, just because of the age, not due to any issues.

19 Sep

Too many rattles at first, spare tire won't stay put and the fit/finish horrible.

23 Jul

I can hear the tires on the road if the radio is off.

5 Jan

Of the 4 tires, the right-rear tire has the worst cupping.

2 Apr

I was not informed by appropriate parties before my purchase that when debri such as mud or snow accumulates in the tire rims that the car feels like the wheels are severely out of balance.

15 Jun

The sport tires are very week and are not worth the money.

20 Jan

In 4 months time, I have had 3 tire blow outs, replaced a rim, had a faulty passanger airbag that does not work(the sensor had to be ordered since the car is so new) and my ipod adaptor broke.

30 Dec

I like the smart design where the center console lid opens into small tables/extra cupholders.

11 Feb

The glovebox is too small, and the center console storage is deep

7 Jul

This car does have a few minor annoyances, like the wood steering wheel has started to crack at the top (just surface cracks), and there are a few rattles from the dash when small bumps are hit.

3 Jul

The gal tried to avoid me (didn't bummer), went to the right, sheering off the stop sign post, all the landscaping and hit a small tree.

25 Apr

My only complaints are the less than torque at city speeds and a small rear seat.

23 Jul

The back seat is small and low on comfort

15 Oct

BMW (M3)is too small, lacks 4WD, expensive to repair and more suitable for people who want snob appeal.

12 Mar

Fast, great on gas, even when the gas prices go up I have no problem getting a half tank with like 15 dollars.

20 Dec

The 3.5L V6 has more than enough power for merging and passing and gets as good of gas mileage as many 4 cylinders do.

20 Oct

THE MURANO TURNS HEADS!

17 Sep

The comfort and ride and handling are excellent for a suv and is almost car like.

21 Aug

The Murano has a car like drive and it's easy to handle.

6 Feb

Replaced all shocks still making noise and I have to almost stop to go over a tinny bump.

27 Dec

My sales person, Eukrina’s exact words were “we do not put our name on anything that we won’t stand behind.”Two weeks after purchase I notice vibration and knocking noise from under the hood.

17 Feb

The only issue I had with it was a transmission vibration.

15 Dec

So many interior rattles that I can't hear myself think.

3 Dec

Defective power passenger window, power outlet in front, broken drivers seat motor (big $1,000 problem, Nissan wants to replace full seat for plastic gear in motor, universal failure), grille chrome plating bubbling off, lots of squeaks and rattles.

11 Sep

My power seat has broken ($900), driver door lock is broken ($600), I need to replace my tires for the second time, and now my engine is making a knocking noise.

11 Jun

There were metal shavings in my fluid and besides the noise I wouldn't have noticed because it still drove fine.

15 May

Beside some noises in the motor, the car is ok driving,

20 Jul

but the engine is starting to concern me with odd noises and hesitations upon acceleration.

26 Jan

There are a few interior rattles that bother me

6 Nov

The sun shades are faulty and fall down for no reason.

Defective power passenger window, power outlet in front, broken drivers seat motor (big $1,000 problem, Nissan wants to replace full seat for plastic gear in motor, universal failure), grille chrome plating bubbling off, lots of squeaks and rattles.

24 Jul

but out of the blue, with no warnings or dash lights, I'm told that my transmission has failed with only 68k miles on the car!

11 Jun

They told me it had internal failure to the transmission and they recommend replacement. $4500.00!!

13 Apr

The failure code did not indicate a tranny problem

27 Aug

Had a few recalls AND a few problems with warranty items (engine/sensor light went off 5 five times AND a faulty fuel part inside tank).

27 Dec

Now, an additional $1,005.73 later I’ve had both struts replaced with the need of replacing the shocks on the rear, bushings (both lower-front) upper radiator hose, front exhaust gusset, drive belts and two tires.

21 Oct

Only complaint: High End Tires are expensive because wheels are big.

7 Jul

Not to mention the tires are replaced every year at a cost of $1,000.

29 Dec

but after changing the tires and both hub assemblies we determined that it was the transmission.

11 Sep

My power seat has broken ($900), driver door lock is broken ($600), I need to replace my tires for the second time, and now my engine is making a knocking noise.

27 Oct

Great steering feel, transmission requires 200 miles befor it quiets down, tire noise also vanishes after 200 miles.

25 May

Either the Murano has alignment problems or the 18" Goodyear LS tires are junk--and I couldn't find another tire manufacturer that makes the same size tires.

4 Nov

Our Mo has not yet given us any trouble with the cvt transmission.

2 Mar

but can’t keep putting transmission in it drivers seat broke wobbles .it does have Room but it’s a lot of work done

22 Jan

Fortunately my 2005 Murano was under warranty for the engine replacement ( using oil with no visible burn or leak) at 80,000 miles and for the transmission replacement at 128,000 miles.

21 Jun

Most recently it had Catastrophic Transmission Failure, among many other things that now need repair.

Two leaks, one from engine oil, one from transmission. ($850).

17 Feb

20 Sep

The CVT transmission is boring and apparently beginning to cause problems.

29 Dec

but after changing the tires and both hub assemblies we determined that it was the transmission.

24 Jul

The important info is: Nissan does not repair transmissions - they only replace them at a more than $5k cost!

16 Aug

4 expensive sensors have had to be replaced.

21 Jun

They want 4 grand to fix the Transmission and another 2,500 for other repairs, such as, Camshaft sensors, drive belts, head gasket,Transfer case..

the big thing that i miss on my murano is a back up sensor i traded my jag for this car and it had a sensor after a while you just get use to having one and backing up at night it would sure help

6 Jul

I felt very comfortable & w/ adjustable seats (so many settings) I was not sitting high & didn't get the feeling of driving a truck.

30 May

Adjustable pedals and seat make it comfortable for short (5'3") women to drive and don't have to hop into it.

14 Dec

My wife likes the adjustable pedals and personalized seat postions.

11 Nov

Even though the seats are adjustable, I'l only 4'11 so the mirror poses an obstruction, trust me, a small price to pay for this GREAT suv.

28 Oct

Cannot find anything wrong with it at all - except when you take your foot off the pedal on level ground it gives a braking effect that you can definitely feel (this is with the AWD off and the traction on).

28 Sep

moveable pedals etc, with memory, quite handy.

16 Nov

Was great from the start, great seat comfort, great handling, decent mileage, only problem was rattles all over.

8 Sep

This car is wider than most of the competition so that translates into passenger comfort.

4 Jun

The seating is comfortable with the leather seats and touring package.

29 Nov

Good points: Seats are very comfortable and the rear seats recline.

4 Jun

23 Aug

I truly enjoy driving my Nissan Murano.

This vehicle is fun to drive no doubt.

I would reccomend this vehicle to anyone wanting a fun mid-size SUV.

6 Feb

but the driving is fun especially on/off ramps on the freeway.

27 Aug

The other 40+ cars in my close family are all American, so they are having fun with the "I told you so's".

12 Aug

Great car and would recommend to anyone who wants a decent MPG SUV that is fun to drive.

6 Jul

With all the bells and whistles, and I am not talking about the noises comming click and clack, this is a fun to drive auto.

1 May

Easy and Fun to drive.

4 Jun

Very thoughtfully designed, strong engine, excellent handling and pick up, roomy, excellent automatic AC, heated seats, 2 memory settings for front seats.

18 Apr

I love the stlying on my Murano, and the road handling.

12 Mar

It handles like a sports car

16 Nov

Was great from the start, great seat comfort, great handling, decent mileage, only problem was rattles all over.

8 Sep

First thing I want to say is that this SUV handles better than a vehicle this large and high should.

4 Jun

It handles very well in all conditions.

28 Dec

I love how the engine picks up and goes, and how it can make sharp turns.

29 Nov

Handling is OK

10 Sep

I've gotten many compliments and inquiries about handling and various other topics.

12 Aug

This car handles as well, if not better, than my friends 2002 X5 Bimmer.

30 Aug

By the time the car was 6 years old the rattles and switch failures, car locks etc started to add up.

28 Jan

Now I have a noise that sounds like the timing chain.

6 Feb

Engine noise at acceleration is a little too loud,

8 Sep

I loved the design of this car wind/road noise needs to improve, a softer suspension and the space between the front seats and console is a trap for dropped papers, coins and cell phones.

5 Apr

Window rattles when down and radios is on with bass.

27 Jul

If that wasn't enough to deter you, try mysterious rattles in the dash and door, Hatch handle works when it wants to and gas mileage is not great.

29 Nov

Road noise is equally disturbing and the ride is hard.

6 Sep

Road noise is horrible replaced transfer case at 17k and left front hub bearing assembly at 18k both were under warranty.

25 Jul

Road noise is almost non existent, stereo is awesome (Bose), back lighting in the dash is JUST OK. Really handy is the automatic control setups for two drivers, press 1 and it's the wife's configuration, and 2 for mine.

12 Apr

Power seat died once, visor stopped staying up, and I have been to the dealer 3 times to fix a rattle in the door, an issue which has a service bulletin out for it.

11 Aug

Seems more like a defect (recall) issue than a warranty issue.

5 Apr

CVT transmission went bad (Nissan refused to honor the 120K warranty).

20 Apr

but as soon as the warranty ended, I sold this bad car.

14 Mar

The following items were fixed under warranty: 1) Driver seat - known problem 2) 2 engine mounts 3) oil gasket 4) tire rod Recently at 102K miles I replaced an engine seal for $300.

5 Apr

Rear caliper went bad, ruined rotor, brake job and rotor and caliper with a warranty still cost $500.

13 Oct

The transmission should have been covered under the powertrain warranty (60 months, 60k miles) -but I was apparently 1 month past the 60 month mark.

27 Jul

Since my warranty ended at 60,000 I had to fight to get the dealer to pay for it, or it would have been a $6400 fix.

21 Mar

Cat converter went 500 miles after warranty and got no help thru Nissan.

6 Sep

Road noise is horrible replaced transfer case at 17k and left front hub bearing assembly at 18k both were under warranty.

12 Aug

A few days ago the top of the rear door got lose, and none at the dealer has an answer why, they took pictures and sent them to the HQ, to see if it is covered by warranty.

18 Oct

Adding to the oil leaks, you have to get it fixed quickly or else, the oil will drip into the alternator, and cause it to fail, just like what happened to me.

30 Aug

By the time the car was 6 years old the rattles and switch failures, car locks etc started to add up.

5 Apr

Numerous reports of transfer case failures as well as exhaust system repairs.

29 May

One problem that is common for this car is the sun visor(s) fail over time and won't stay in the up position, which can be really annoying, they're expensive to replace too - upwards of $200 for a new visor which really surprised me.

20 Apr

Catastrophic Failures (covered by Warranty) Drive box - wouldn't go in reverse (Out 2 weeks) Transmission was rebuilt when the chain kept leaking which I guess is a common problem.

6 Feb

Front left wheel bearings failed at 80,000K, problem with the rear hatch handle sticking and have to constantly lube to keep functional - probably due to salty Chicago area winters.

12 Oct

The alternator failed at about 20k, one of the speakers has cut out randomly since about 40k, and I have gone through many sets of tires since I bought the car.

9 Oct

The alternator replaced (free do to recall).

5 Aug

Bearing froze on idler pully causing it to fail, fly apart and damange engine components.

5 Aug

The Nissan representative failed to show up for the appointment and stated the paint on their vehicles could not possibly contain a flaw causing rust.

20 Apr

but extremely annoying: Door Actuator on the Drivers handle Windshield Wipers (twice fixed) CV Joint passenger side Struts after only 60K And a bunch of other crap I can't remember.

14 Aug

Have had to replace both front door locks (quit unlocking) windshield (mirror came off with a chunk of windshield with it) Bose 6-CD player quit after 2 years.

10 Jul

I love the Murano and I don't have a single complaint about it, except that I had to buy a pair of polarized sun glasses because of glare from Arizona sun against the angle of the windshield.

12 Apr

N/A

22 Jan

There are a few odd little things like windshield wipers that can't be lifted for cleaning unless you stop them in mid stream.

24 Jan

The driver seat broke at the track on the floor.

18 Sep

IT NEEDS SOME WORK DOES NOT EXALERATE PROPERLY THEY NEED TO TAKE IT OFF THE SHOWROOM FLOOR UNTIL IT IS ABALE TO BE FIXED BEFORE TRYING TO SEEL IT FOR $4500.00

6 Feb

but could use low-med-high settings. Replaced the oil filter cooler housing seal at 68K (seal design is bad and leaks oil only when engine is running leaving no evidence on garage floor - so check oil often!)

1 Feb

2 May

The ride is a good balance between sporty and "comfortable".

10 Jan

Compared to my friends Lexus it rides better and we the CVT.

20 Dec

We enjoy the quiet ride of the Murano.

29 May

The CVT 4speed OD transmission is like riding on air.

18 Feb

Although one of the reasons we bought this car was because we needed good clearance (because we live in mountains), we weren't aware of this inconvenient feature that cut the clearance of this otherwise high riding vehicle, by about 6"- 8".

8 Dec

I've taken it for along ride and my children loved the comfort.

10 Aug

The ride in the back is roomy and comfortable and I get tons of compliments wherever I go.

26 Apr

It rattles when you drive, you can’t accelerate regularly, do NOT use the AC, I get 11 miles to the gallon and I can’t leave my hometown without breaking down.

23 Jul

1st off engine noise & road noise is horrible.

23 Nov

OIL LEAK from the engine, rattling noises from parts inside cabin.

22 Mar

I have a loud rattle in my engine.

14 Nov

Never mind 3 recalls - a gas cap that won't open, a window that rattles, a clock that runs 5 minutes fast - stupid things that just show poor quality - and now they want $650 for an air flow sensor because I didn't have my last oil change done by Nissan?

25 Apr

I mention this all the time I take it in for it's maintenance schedule and no one seems to be able to "duplicate" the noise.

4 Mar

The reason I took it to them was because the car would start making a funny noise when I let my foot off the gas, it sounded like a lawnmower.

20 Oct

As far as some of the other reviews, If you open the sunroof to the setting that has the white mark (different from the other settings), you will not experience the cabin noise.

2 May

The air vibrations are extemely uncomfortable.

15 Jan

Open sunroof makes unbearble interior noise.

8 Dec

In addition, the wiper arms' location under the hood means you can't stand up the wiper arms/blades for any reason, such as to prevent them freezing to the windshield, or to scrape frost/ice off the windshield, or to change wiper blades.

7 May

On the new Murano the sunroof shield has to be all the way open to crack the sunroof which is annoying because it makes the car temperature hot.

26 Jun

20 Oct

Also, there is definitely a rear window washer.

9 Apr

excellant to look at some flaws in design especially wipers a recall is in the works====== for shifter nut not tightened properly (on a $30000 car a bit perplexing also rain gets in the hatch area as well as the doors when existing.

7 Mar

Fuel sensor is defective occasionaly lights up and says it's out of gas when it is not.

24 Feb

From the outside it looked like only the bumper was damaged, yet the battery encasement holder was pushed into the transmission and a whole new transmission was needed.

29 Jan

but trouble, I had the car stop on me in the middle of traffic 3 times: 1. alternater 2. transmission (which had to be repaired 3 times) 3. battery. 4.

26 Dec

Many problems, battery died 2x(covered), back windows rolled down by themselves (2x,luckily nothing stolen), gas door wouldn't open (in costco line), now door locks are "worn"-all three gave out when I took it in for a "free" oil change- coincidence?

8 Dec

And the windshield defroster is too hot at the bottom and too cold at the top, resulting in a windshield that is externally wet at the bottom (refreezing into hard ice) and internally fogged at the top.

7 May

On the new Murano the sunroof shield has to be all the way open to crack the sunroof which is annoying because it makes the car temperature hot.
