2017 Chrysler Pacifica

windshield

I bought 3 years old vehicle, this vehicle have paint bubbling issue on the hood, check engine light issue due to electrical issues & wiper squeaking issue.

Wipers and horn would sound repeatedly even after the battery was disconnected.

The other problem is in the design of the vehicle is the window wiper system as when on it leaves a streak in the drivers view and on the passenger side it leaves a large area uncovered.

Wiper fluid hoses were missing when we bought it.

Inner side of windshield very hard to clean the film that forms on it.

If you sit in the front all the sound comes from the corner of the dashboard near the windshield.

noise

(the dealer never fixes it)
- axles out and spent so much money (not part of power terrain)
- power windows don't work on passenger side
- steering wheel noises a lot (not covered by power terrain)
- constant noises from different areas of car

Don't look at $3k-4k cheaper when compared to Odyssey/Sienna.

front end rattles like crazy and they say that is the beast.

Biggest problem is the wind and road noise is very, very bad!

I had some issues with my Town & Country, for one it was noisy.

It transmits a lot of the road noise to the interior of the car.

transmission

I have a Touring 2017 - from transmission to every other small issue has happened to my Car.

Warranty-paint peeling on the hood, side doors opening/closing malfunctions, battery replacements for the main battery and auxiliary battery related to the start stop system, hard shifts in transmission, radio/audio issues.

The trans started hard shifting from first to second or second to third at around 187k miles.

Hate that this van has a hard shift problem.

I have been stuck 3 times with kids in the car its impossible to rock out of snow because of a delay in the dial style auto transmission.

My only complaint is that the 9-speed transmission has two flaws.

The most significant has been the continuing transmission problems that have plagued this vehicle from very early on after the purchase.

The electronics allow you to watch temperatures on the engine cooling, oil temperature, and transmission fluid temperature.

Transmition hard shifts, radio quits working, air conditioning quits working, power doors have quit working.

The center console does not have much enclosed storage and things tend to shift around.

battery

I have had this van for about 2 years and so far we have had the car stall on us multiple times while traveling, an issue with one cylinder misfiring, 2 rear headrests that will no longer go up if they are let down (this problem was "fixed" and then occurred again the next time the seat was stowed), both batteries needing replacement, an issue with the ECU performance chip and the overhead DVD player to stop functioning.

The start stop battery and main battery would have been over $400 to fix out of warranty and there is no guarantee it won’t happen every two years.

sensor

The engine hesitate at 28 mph , park sensor went  out ,abs module went out , traction went out .

Auto start/stop works only 50% of the time as does the blind spot sensor system.

Also, steering wheel sensor told me to put my hands on steering wheel while driving speed limit on interstate and not distracted!

family

parents nightmare if you have messy kids.

We fold down the seats, put in draws at the tail end and 5 gal buckets at the driver end to hold up plywood to put our bed on and then store the camping stuff in the drawers and the inflatable paddle board, golf clubs, suitcases under the bed.

It is comfortable and there is plenty of room for luggage.

I have six grandchildren, so now I can take them all at one time.

Coming from a Honda odyssey to the Pacifica, this van is so much nicer in the way it rides and the comfort of the seats.

I love the seating for 8, you can put the 2nd row and 3rd row seats down to use it as a utility vehicle, the engine has plenty of power and you can accelerate fast, it handles great, and it's a comfortable family car.

My husband convinced me to test drive another Chrysler because they look amazing, and the features are top amazing for the price tag and blow Toyota and Honda out of the water.

Love the features and all of the automated breaking system.

Local car all options, running boards have been added.

It has many safety and convenience features,  which I greatly appreciate.

The features and smart key are a nice touch.

The noise possibly originates from the exhaust resonator and/or exhaust pipe hangers.

Very noisy, shuts off if you press the brake to hard- can shut 8t off temporarily

An extra feature is when I have to stop for a longer period in a stop light, the vehicle prompt you to extra press on the breaks so it will switch off for the waiting time, giving you a gas saving period.

button that turns the engine off, should be able to turn it off one time, not every time you drive.

The keyless entry combined with the auto engine switch off when stopped has caused me to not realize I still had the engine running when parked.

XLE trim package has moonroof, power driver and front passenger seats, leather seat, navigation, bluetooth, 4 2.1 Amp USB ports, 1 120v 100w AC plug (a bit low powered), power liftgate, keyless ignition.

exhaust

2 other things- the exhaust is a terrible designer decission, common for all trims, including such above $50k.. second- the design of the area below the touchscreen- so  1960s.

warranty

They will not replace the transmission if it's discovered after the time of warranty.

So they won’t honor the warranty, and the dealer said sorry, we begged Toyota America to fix it.

The first was a 2008 model and still in the family running great.

Comfortable ride, lot's of leg room and plenty of space for the kids, the dog and everything else.

The second Highlander is now used by our daughter and the latest my wife and I use in retirement.

This has been a great car for my family- big enough to go on family vacation

If you have a family, it's the perfect hauler.

this is the dream family vehicle and has the capacity for a 5 person family.It can fit three car seats in the middle row.

Overall, this is a Solid Choice for larger or active families.

Perfect car for my family of 4 at first, until we became a family of 5.

I would recommend this to my friends and family.

The Highlander is just the right size to meet my families needs.

The Highlander is very comfortable and very capable, and great on gas!

Yes I know it is my own fault for assuming such a highly recommended  SUV would come with the features you were so used to having.

I purchased this car new, 2 years ago and still have issues understanding how all the features work.

Easy to drive,  great visibility and safety features are great.

The interior features are amazing and the cargo space was surprisingly larger than I expected.

I love the looks of the vehicle, its sporty rims and the pearl-white color option (with navy blue interior) is an absolute and complete pleasure.

The ride is excellent and I love the looks inside and out.

but clarity and sound not great at low volumes.

Terrible AC system that can't keep up with 80F weather!

Don't love the audio and that's about it.

Outdated navigation and interactive system.

The panoramic sun roof is a very nice touch during clear evening sky or sunny drive with my family.

The base engine is more than enough in city and highway driving.

I love the handling and power of the turbo engine.

Turbo mounted in the back - behind a motor, makes future service a headache and it makes engine bay super hot.

The turbo engine makes accelerating smooth, and before you know it, you are going 90, and it feels like 60.

Acceleration ok at best given engine size.

speed

Its a six speed automatic vs 8 speed or 10 speed like most others make these day.

Very noisy at highway speeds with the 20" wheels/tires.

Even at high speeds, this little truck eats up the curves like a more expensive luxury vehicle.

turn-handling

There were much less body roll when I was twisting and turning in city streets.

Overall, the CX-50 is a  stylish in/out, fun to drive SUV with most things I look for.

It was so much fun, and I was so proud of my little Mazda!

2019 Chevrolet Traverse

The engine shuts off at every stop light.

The engine is very quiet and road noise is not an issue.

timing Chains went requiring an entire engine rebuild.

However not too sure I like the auto stop feature that kills the engine at every redlight.

We have issues with the TVs shutting off when doors are opened or closed and occasionally will shut off when vehicle comes to a stop and engine goes to auto stop mode.

if this car is like the 2018 run as fast as you can transmission  failed at 1700 miles had it in three times still not fixed engine using three quarts of oil in a oil change navigation  is worthless cruse control melfunctions first car iv had in 30 years where I have to carry extra oil with me

but returned it and reversed the purchase the same day when I discovered (to my chagrin) that the engine would shutdown and restart when stopped in traffic.

2) The auto stop engine shut off when you stop and clicks on when starting. annoying.

It's hard to write a complete review of the vehicle, as after 600 miles the transmission failed and left me on the side of the road.

This vehicle has plenty of space for my family.

Nice cargo room for all the luggage &#38; groceries you can stuff into it.

When you have a lot of grandchildren, this is a great vehicle.

Great for a family vehicle especially if it is growing like mine.

With the extra space no other crossover has, great reliability, comfort, safety, low cost of ownership and ample power the Traverse has been the perfect fit for our family.
