2022 Mitsubishi Outlander

noise

The sporty body kit was put on with Elmer’s glue and side skirts can fall off at highways speeds and the hood rattles so severely it looks like it may be popped

The interior is dope 👌 and despite having a few hiccups with rattling in the door panels after blarring the 9 speaker 1 sub bose system; i really enjoy the infotainment system.

The hood has a manufacturer's defect, at speeds over 60 miles or if it's windy it bounces and shakes as if it's going to fly off, Mitsubishi's offer to fix it, is by replacing the hood with a new part that has to be painted in a local body shop  this will compromise the integrity of a car, as it's not an original paint anymore and therefor devalues the car, this is considered a lemon and under the Lemon Law Mitsubishi should take the car back and fully refund the buyer.

So many electrical issues, suspension and steering noises, wind noise, hood flutter, stereo problems, cameras problems, power window problems, and Mitsubishi is unable to fix any issue, we’ve been dealing with this since August 2021.

After two three months of purchase the unit began a noise in the internal back as if it were an old car.

Another reviewer said something about the hood vibration.

Only issue we have ran into with the vehicle thus far is the rattling&#47;moving hood while on highways.

Like the previous review about the hood vibrating at high speeds, took it to the dealership and already had the rubber cushioning correcting kit to fix the issue.

Yes the hood shakes a little when driving at faster speeds

I did find it seemed to be underpowered coming off ramps to merge at highway speeds, again it's just fine in normal mode, or Sport (Tarmac).

If you don't drive at highway speeds and you live where the wind never exceeds 15 miles per hour you'll be in love with this car.

audio-system

It sounds like a window is cracked open and tons of road noise.

The infotainment system would freeze and call people at random.

Would be an even more impressive vehicle if it had an AUX plug for audio devices to be hooked up to stereo system.

but there is NOTHING whatsoever "premium" about this stereo.

camera

This car is like a space shuttle, with all the high-tech features, such as the huge touchscreen monitor on the dash, all the camera assists, drive modes, mi-pilot assist, blind spot detection and even just the way you switch it from park to drive&#47;reverse.

failure

App is unreliable,doesn't always start car, sometimes will indicate it has failed, yet car started.

but the car should be recalled, and the audio system repaired.

classy

Mitsubishi made the interior very classy and clean, &#38; the exterior looks amazing as well, especially with the word  'outlander' written above the grill&#47; frontof hood.

warranty

The warrenty is a deal breaker as well 😀 i highly recommend tint and rain gaurds which look pretty sweet once i got them put on.

I would purchase another one tomorrow if i could, and will definitely be sticking with Mitsubishi, because of all the safety features they equipped their vehicles with &#38; also because of the 10 year or 100,000 mile warranty you get with the vehicle.

fuel

Gas milage around 30mpg, interior is beautiful and ride is Great.

After buying the car I had to go on the road trip for work and was very happy with the 30.7 miles per gallon I got with cruise control set around 72 miles an hour on mostly flat highway.

I’m honestly very happy and I love that it doesn’t waste gas.

I’ve put close to 7k on my white diamond black edition outlander, runs very smooth on road handles corners like a pro.It has a very stylish look turns heads everywhere I go, and does really great on gas if you don’t let your lead foot take over.I really love this vehicle and highly recommend it.

Keep in mind it has a very small gas tank so fill-ups will be fairly regular on long distances.

Purchased this vehicle with great gas mileage.

In these modes it does a great "giddy up go", and can accelerate impressively, with a deduction in your fuel (from the instant fuel gauge monitoring).

but great for city living with great gas mileage and really great space with all seats down.

This car is very fuel efficient, I been doing an average of 29-32 MPG which is quite similar to my last fuel efficient mirage .

ride

I truly love this car it rides so smooth and the steering is awesome.

it has a smooth ride and technology in this vehicle is awesome.

though the Outlander is a comfortable vehicle to drive, we drove it from Atlanta to Orlando and the ride was enjoyable.

To get everything you want on this ride, in the colors you want is a needle in a haystack.

No bad cvt transmission, almost drive like automatic transmission , big wheels filling more the ride

The handling is good and responsive and the ride is smooth

It rides Smoothly on the local streets and highway, new luxury updates on the outside and inside, larger than my previous 2020 Outlander, loaded with features such as kick feature trunk release, infotainment system, several drive conditions selections,  panoramic moon roof, 3rd row of seating, 360 and birds eye view cameras, so many safety features to mention.

My outlander sel drives nice and comfortable cabin with luxury very resonable price and not bad for price I recommend buying outlander did take notice hood shakes

2022 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV

Great for trips under 25 miles, no gas needed.

mileage

It handles great, gets decent gas mileage and feels much more luxurious than the price tag, even on my SE model.

Upon further downership of the vehicle I noticed it got 1 mpg better on the highway

It handled well in snow with it's stock tires in Yellowstone, amazingly on highways in the Dakota's with downpour conditions at 50 mph (too scary to even attempt to go faster), and stuck to the road like a racecar all over the Southwestern Deserts UT, AZ, NV, and CA.

As for me, I live in a windy area and drive the 75 mph interstate every time I leave the house.

2022 Volkswagen Taos

transmission

The transmission shifts inconsistently causing either jerking of vehicle at low speeds or inadequate acceleration when needed to merge into traffic.

I would rate this vehicle at least 4 stars if the transmission did not make driving this vehicle Work and tiresome.

The DSG transmission is a very poor choice for this vehicle.

The transmission is a bit laggy from a start

but until the embarrassing 7-speed transmission gets addressed, I wouldn't recommend the Taos to someone.

The only negative comments I have is about the transmission.

but the uneven power delivery is a hazard and I would warn others to avoid the AWD version until a future time when VW either fixes this condition or uses a different transmission in the next version.

lights

.the car violently Jerks sometimes when stop at the light when the ignition shuts off,the lane assist will randomly shut off.

I purchased this in January and at only 4000 miles has been to the dealer multiple times for stop start stalling, EPC code, check engine light and other electronic issues.

Lately, while driving, the car will flash the check engine light when it's low on gas.

Great looking car, classic clean VW look.

but you do get what you pay for & appreciate that the first two services are complimentary plus the 4 year/50k warranty! !

but gained AWD, way more passenger space for family and friends and a more comfortable riding position for when I feel like running about.

The quiet and smooth ride of the Taos has been thoughtfully designed and engineered.

It has a very comfortable ride (a little on the firmer side) and it handles very well for a CUV.

Nice balance between sportiness, efficiency, noise, & ride.

It's a very compact car, I find that the passenger seat ride is okay - I have a baby-seat in the rear that only allows for so much room in front-passenger seat

The car is beautiful on the outside and such a smooth ride.

Acceleration is not bad, better in Sport mode, ride is good, and handling surprisingly nimble.

I'm 6'6" and I fit quite comfortably inside, plenty of head, leg, and knee room!

Great fuel economy, handles like a sports car and plenty of room on the in the cabin.

but, you should not need to push the seat back for basic foot room.

I'm 6'4, and I have ample leg and head room.

2021 Honda Civic

Doors feel cheap, too light and plastic; very NOISY inside car - can't hear radio when driving 55 mph.

Plus it’s already vibrating at idle and it only has 30 miles on it’s

Rattles everywhere, poor exterior paint quality where they chip very easily, the 1.5 engine mixing oil with gasoline which damages the engine, the seats are pretty uncomfortable on longer trips, etc.

Classy look with nice interior design inside.

2021 Kia K5

And from the inflatable pillow in my seat something happened to that and I keep hearing a ticking noise in the back as if someone was kicking the backseat and it bumps a little bit towards the back.

Same dealership took car back due to noise on front end  when deaccelerating.

Right after I bought the car I noticed a rattle coming from the dash.

IMO, noisy weak engine, outside noise very audible in cabin, uncomfortable cabin surrounded by shiny plastic, rough ride, doesn't handle road or bumps well

I haven't experienced any of the nuances that others have pointed out, such as rattling and/or squeaking sounds.

It was all rattle and the engine made a lot of noise even when revving at 1500 rpm.

however it sounds like engine is going to blow up windshield is defective in the sun night and rain I owned a 2013 Optima never had any problems at all k5 is so disappointing I do not like it at all

but the car dosent ride as smooth you can feel every bump and lump apple car play always messing up I’ve had to have an alignment and wheel balance they still can’t figure out what’s wrong with it definitely not worth it to me the dealership convinces you to bring it in more money and they never tell you the real problem a rock hit the windshield and the whole window busted only having it 3 months I’ve had no good luck with this purchase it’s always something wrong with this car

Only drawback is the rear window, could be improved with a rear wiper like the Audi 5.

I have had just about everything, VW, CAMRY,NISSAN, love this K5 it is classy, beautiful, great performance love sport mode, All wheel drive and feels like a race car when you drive it.

I am very happy with everything about this car, except the USB port inability to play my iPod classic.

Classy style, comfort beyond belief, safety features make me feel secure, and controls easy to read, operate and reach.

These cars have come along way and with warranty assisted driving and comfort.

Safety and warranty were HUGE selling points for us.

I ended up getting all the bells and whistes including the GT package with the racing seats, steering wheel, rims, moon roof, stereo, heated and cooling seats and steering wheel and more!!

The console is great has so many goodies not sure how to use them all yet.

The car met all my needs, it’s smooth, has all the features that I need, big trunk, comfortable and has really surprisingly big leg room

Overall, as I rated it all 5 stars for the 6 features above, and it is definitely very well worth it, & I would highly recommend it to anyone who is considering buying a brand new Kia.

The Kia K5 is everything I wanted in a car it meets all of my needs and is so comfortable,it has so may options that have exceeded my expectations.

but my first Kia, decided on this when I saw their new K5 (formerly known as optima) when I test drove it I fell in love and this car has more features and more comfort as well as better looking over all than the competition

The seats in this base model were very comfortable.

The only thing I haven't been happy with is the type of material used in the interior it collects EVERYTHING!!

the overall ride and how quiet it is has plenty of power and the interior is stylish and comfortable and it has plenty of cool tech

2021 Kia Seltos

Also had to replace the Kumho tires with Michelin tires because the tire&#47;road noise was so bad and also there is no noise dampening material in the vehicle so we removed spare tire and Jack and lined with rubber and made it a little quieter.

Road noise is very noticeable and having a conversation with a passenger can be a bit difficult.

Cabin noise when driving on the highway is fairly loud,

This even after Techs from two different dealerships test drove and declared 1) "That is not right" (when he felt the vibration) and 2) described in his report to KIA as "Excessive Steering vibration".

but 95% of the time it is very good and on a windy day you get a little wind noise but not bad for its class, it has nice wide 235 tires with 18 inch rims and is not as quiet as my 2011 Grand Cherokee Overland ha ha but it is almost half the price and I am retired now and 29,000 was a good price point for myself.

We're actually considering trading the car off with less than 3000 miles, and we sure won't be going to the same dealership - they brushed off our concerns, screwed up paying off our trade in, and failed to give us what they promised.

I've had 3 issues with my 2021 seltos,  the first was when I was in Florida visiting my mom,  had approximately 3 thousand miles on it, the fuel light indicator was on, they said it was a fuel sensor,  took 3 weeks to fix, second time ,same fuel light indicator was on again,  had approximately 5 thousand miles on, had it towed to kia dealerships I purchased it from,  they said it was rodent damage and took another 3 weeks to fix, meanwhile neither time was I offered a loaner car or rental vehicle.

The only drawback I can truly say is the front collision sensor doesn't work too well when driving in heavy snow or slush.

The 60,000 mile 6 year Warrenty transferred to my name when he put the car in my name

Great vehicle, no complaint, best warranty out there,good performance, nice features, safety ,compact color selection  are nice,interior nice features, exterior is great,handed great,  great on gas. .100%recommended

Other than those, I would recommend this car to anyone who is looking for a small SUV with power, comfort and safety.

2021 Hyundai Sonata

I wish it came with a shift handle rather than the push-buttons on the transmission,

Select “Sport” mode out of the 4 available driving modes and with manual paddle shifting, you’ll be going 80 mph in 4th gear (there are 8 in the dual wet clutch transmission) before you count to 6.

This is truly a complete package it has the looks it has the performance reliability warranty etc.

Plus the great warranty on top of it all.

This car handles like no other I have ever owned and the safety features are amazing, Hyundai is the best ride on the road and the warranty is amazing and I will consider Hyundai for a very long time

This car has more features and all excellent: the lane corrector has improved; the parking views improves your view around the car and best is the stop and go speed control.

Hyundai, give us the option to use wired, please!
