2019 Ford F-150

I've had shifting issues so bad I could have swore I was rear ended multiple times, wiring harness issues, knock sensor issues, complete power loss 2 times (complete shut off.. No steering, braking, NO POWER), cooling fan went crazy!

The only thing I don't like is that the rear window defroster is tied in to the mirror defroster, would of liked those switches separate.

Not a huge fan of the 10 speed transmission.

Truck is only a year old and the dash is already warped on the passengers side and around the defrost vents.

Bought this truck in November 2019 and noticed in January that the dash pad is warping where the defrost vents are in the windshield.

The issues I've found with this truck have been with the driver seat seeming to shift from side to side slightly, it was missing a few inches of defroster element in the sliding back glass(they have ordered a replacement) and a very noisy engine compared to the 2016 model 5.0 v8.

A bit Leary if American vehicles because I’m a die hard TOYOTA fan.

noise

Stalls, pops, rattles, surges 
Dealer cannot find any issues and is months behind in getting 
vehicle back in for repairs.

however the ford technicians say this "rattle is not a defect so Ford will not address the issue.

They've also added some creature comforts like heated seating and a power rear sliding window which cut some of the wind noise when open.

BEWARE of this 10 speed and noisy rattly motor.

The only problem I've had with any of the six F-150's has been some wind noise

The 2019 5.0 has some faint valve chatter and a single pop noise when taking your foot off the gas under load.

The auto start/stop feature is really annoying, the whole truck shakes when it starts back up.

Some noise under the hood when driving at low speed.

Collision sensor came on with no one in front of me at 45 mph.

Back up sensors go by me as well, has rear camera why would they not install back up sensors as standard equipment especially in a truck with rear vision being poor.

failure

After many failed attempts to fix and 7 months later they finally had to replace the entire transmission.

30,000 km had  recall reprogram pcm re ticking on cold startup had shudder after that reprogram back to original then they replaced cam phasers since this was done have nothing

Ask for certain local businesses by  name that have been around for 30 years and it will fail to bring them up in a search.

Had two features I didn't know I had, the auto-high beam and the headlights turn on during the day when the wipers are on or intermittent.

diesel

I own f 250 king ranch 2005 diesel and was very bad eng, and I paid a fortune, for that truck the real lime, gmc are better pick up trucks

After 12 years of driving a Diesel HD truck, the F-150 is like getting a luxury sedan with the power to tow our big boat effortlessly.

but I’ve always wanted to try the diesel and this new smaller diesel is great.

The 10 speed trans and Diesel engine pull this weight with ease and the fuel mileage is very satisfactory.

Most comfortable, dependable and beautiful truck I've ever owned!

Stella's turbo function enables me the speed to navigate highway traffic safely and the 4 wheel drive gives me the comfort of handling any weather&#47;terrain condition I am faced with.

Soooooo fast, rides smoother than a Cadillac, it has very comfortable seats, passengers love the leg room in the back, and the ladder to get in and out of the truck bed is extra convenient!

The interior is just like my car--comfortable with all the "extras".

Comfortable truck, 10 speed transmission and 395 hp with 400 ft lbs tq stock.

By far the best comfortable truck with 4x4 I've owned.

Love my2019 f-150  sport truck Nice power.

There is plenty of power with the 5.0l and plenty of room for my family.

Enjoy the power of the V8 engine, as I am not a fan of the turbo charge engine.

Plenty of power when needed, yet tuned to be very efficient.

Plenty of cabin space and power with the 2.7 v6 turbo.

Power unbelievable getting on and off freeway, accelerates smooth.

Alot of room and the 2.7 Turbo is more than enough power to tow what I need.

The 3.5 twin turbo has more than enough power.

2019 RAM 1500

I have had the rear window replaced twice due to cracking of the frame.

And now rear end noise and they don’t know what’s wrong with it

The sound damper needed an update as I was getting some funny engine noise when the cylinder deactivation kicked in, and finally the active air shutters quit working, this was after I had used up my mileage on the bumper to bumper and they are not part of the power train, so $800 later.

Taking it in tomorrow because the climate control stopped working and still waiting on the 2nd set of brakes to come in to fix the noise issue.

I hear humming and noise vibration when traveling at low speeds and 1500 rpms.

There was also some unexplained clunking noises.

Windows squeak, transmission shifts hard, horrible fuel economy, ever if you drive the truck very conservative.

There is no comparison when it comes to ride, road noise or convenience features.

The AC is crap and there is this horrible whistling noise at highway speed.

The back up camera often failed to turn off after going into drive for several minutes on multiple occasions.

but many problems with a clunky shifting transmission and a failed 
Engine lifter at 62k miles.

Sadly, expect at least one thing at any given time to not work, something breaking, rattle, or all out failing.

I am now at 6,000+ miles and other than a couple little minor recalls that the dealer fixed no problems.

radio

but randomly, the radio or satellite cuts out and won't come back on even after restarting.

Second issue is when you turn the vehicle off all the radio presets disappear and you have to reprogram them.

radio stopped working, brakes slam on in reverse, loud moaning sound under hood, back up camera off and on.

New 2019 ram first drive from Florida to Ohio the radio goes out no Sirius no nav no back up cam this is a brand new Laramie my 2014 I traded in was just as quiet on the road as the 2019 they claim is so quiet very upset with my new 2019 ram

I found out on a forum that its the ground wire on the radio amp and coming

Most importantly is after 15 months of this truck rolling out of the factory, the air conditioner stopped working in the middle of a heat wave.

Wrong wheel sensor installed, outside mirror motor replaced, brake pads and rotors replaced, 12" infotainment screen replaced, wheel-well shroud replaced and A/C sensor replaced.

Comfort and styling are the best on the market with air-conditioning and heating in the back seats to the 12 inch vertical touchscreen infotainment center down to the very comfortable leather and stitching you can’t go wrong.

I'm not a fan of Dodge and after this experience, that has not changed.

3 repairs to the control fan switch and still the check engine light is on after only 4K miles and 2 months.

Ther fan is set too low, it never gets to ther presets temperature.

lights

Moisture in headlights, damaged paint off the lot, poor repair that led to fender being painted 3 times and the hood needing repair due to bad workmanship, broken rear defroster two times.

3rd brake lights a leaking which seems to be common do to the gaskets used by the manufacturer.

Engine shuts off at lights and when you stop for any lenght of time.. At this time I am averaging 20.5 mpg  70 percent highway.

Loving it, only minor issue with headlight knob

but was really disappointed when the check engine light came on at 2079 miles and upon taking it to the dealer learned of a problem with the etorque system.

but really like the features and per of the diesel.

What a great ride, traded in a 2004 diesel.

Wish you'd make more Turbos, Hybrids, and Diesels for us Canadians.

After the last 5 3/4 tons and a diesel it is nice to be in a half ton.

I have yet to make it one full year without requiring service on my truck.

Great looking, driving,  and handling  pickup love the truck very happy  with it would  recommend  buying  one get many compliments  on the looks and  performance

This is a great all-around truck that blends luxury features with a solid truck.

The poor reviews on this truck are terrifying when you consider how much you are paying.

We hooked our camper which weights 6000 pounds it is a Ultra lite  camper to this truck and it would not pull the camper.

With coil suspension on all wheels, it makes for a very soft and comfortable ride, while being able to tow anything you can throw it's way.

but it's still  a better ride than any other car I have owned.

The quad cab makes it great for road trips or a ride to the store.

spacious interior, comfortable ride, better fuel economy, great towing ability, and hopefully the same reliability I had with my 2012 RAM.

It’s a truck with a very sophisticated ride.

Almost a year now and it is the smoothest riding vehicle I have ever drove.

All the bells and whistles, lots of room for the family, good looks and a comfy ride.

Handling is great, ride is excellent, power is very good, style is very good.

Would not give up the suspension, and comfortable ride.

The interior comforts beat its competitor's hands down.

The truck met my expectations leg room is ample seats are comfortable and the 5.7 Hemi is great The exhaust has a nice deep tone

It has everything you could want, and the comfort is second-to-none.

I enjoy the comfy heated leather seats and heated steering wheel, the safety features of the cameras front and back and their coverage of the bumpers front and back.

Very comfortable, agronomy is great, quality and design are fantastic.

Overall I love the truck, it  pulls great, is comfortable and has all the creature comforts you could want.

2018 Ford F-150

The engine was also  making a plastic raspy noise whenever I let off the accelerator.

but on back roads the 10 speed transmission can get clunky and sometimes the engine sounds a little noisy, makes me nervous after hearing about so many cam phasers and timing chain issues with the 3.5L EcoBoost.

Has 50k miles on it, getting either a rear end differential  gear noise starting or rear wheel bearing starting to go.

Don’t buy a 5.0 Coyote from Ford  
 
The Coyote motor has problems with a metallic banging noise that Ford has acknowledged and will not take any steps to remedy.

After approximately 20K  A rattle in the motor developed, after four times with the dealer of purchase, and once to a different dealer Ford says its characteristic of the vehicle, had I known that at time of purchase I would never have bought it, how will I ever resell this vehicle with the rattling motor?

Truck has the most wind noise ever, the 4 wheel drive jumps and binds even on ice or snow.

I went to pass slow car and as I was passing the engine light came on and flashed and I heard a clunking noise.

Has developed suspension rattles really bad at 15K.

I can't believe no one has mentions that the 10 speed transmission shifts hard and makes grinding noises in any of these reviews.

Also when I’m going above 80km/h and shakes.

I love this truck, auto rain wipers, auto lights, power mirrors, adaptive cruise control, auto powered running boards, power windows, auto up and down on front windows, front air cooled seats, front and back heated seats, front seats have vibrators, heated steering wheel, stereo USB satellite radio, power double sunroof, will pull a camper upto 13500 lbs with a 3.5 Liter Ecoboost engine.

Have had to go back twice to the dealership as the transmission is slipping and clunking 
Seems unsafe at times
Also engine light has turned in a unrelated issue
Had the truck 1 year 30.000kms
If issues continue I will need to get a different vehicle

I hate that at stop signs or red lights, it turns off until you let off the brakes: then it restarts.

Only complaints so far (40k) are the radio reception is not great, can’t give you a visor mirror on a base package?, the windshield washer spray seems to not work when it’s cold out. Other than those minor items I love the truck and the mileage I’m getting (about 21 with mixed driving)

Awesome, comfortable, good looking great diesel mileage, pulls my 25 ft center console boat with ease and averages 16 miles to the gallon when pulling a 8,000 lb boat.

This F-150 Lariat replaces an older Super Duty that was thirsty for expensive diesel fuel.

This truck has no dings or dents, paint (white) is excellent.

I honestly can't think of a downside to this truck.

This is a very fine truck with low mileage.

The 3.5L turbo Ecoboost has absolutely no issues moving this massive truck around.

Excellent truck for towing my RV trailer.

Lastly, my work truck has the 3.3 V6 which is not bad especially on a tight budget.

Great acceleration and a smooth comfortable ride.

The cabin is eerily quit and supremely comfortable. The heated, cooled and massage(!)

On the higher end models they have every creature comfort imaginable.

The ride comfort is good for a 4 wheel drive vehicle.

Quiet comfortable ride better than most upscale cars.

This 2018 Ford raptor is comfortable and rides great, it has awesome power, handles extremely well.

The F350 was the most comfortable truck I'd owned to date

though it's a larger truck and I'm on the shorter side I feel very comfortable driving it.

Comfortable, smooth ride, looks cool and has plenty of power.

For a full size pickup, the ride is surprisingly smooth and the included driver assist features will make a lazy driver out of anyone.

I've put 55k miles on this truck, and the only mechanical issue I've experienced is a problem with the power running boards not fully extending.

Truck is loaded sunroof power start ignition heated &#38; cooled seats.

Very nice vehicle and excellent power and towing.

Plenty of power, great to tow the boat or travel trailer.

but after driving it for 2 weeks it was plenty of power and gets great gas mileage.

2017 RAM 1500

I hate the growling  vibration in eco mode, hate it.

The road noise is a little high when you are traveling on the highway,

Poor heat circulation, windows freeze shut in Michigan winter, creaks along the headboard when its cold, terrible tires, poor door insulation, noisy, and just plain sluggish compared to the F150 I had before it.

The dashboard was pulled out 4 times for squeaks and rattles, it only got worse.

You can hear the radio without turning up the volume to get over the road or wind noise.

At 10,000 miles brakes were already squeaking.

No rattles, no shakes, no squeaks or creaks.

When pulling my trailer and going down hill I set trailer brakes to 0 and have to pull trailer down hill not sure if it’s a transmission problem

but all you need power brakes and steering, power windows and door locks , cruise control 8 speed automatic no power seat, no touch screen no back seat all the function none of the pretence

My truck only has 23k miles and at least 500 of them are from going back for recalls and warrantied break downs.

My Silverado had some issues with pulling around 7 to 8k and had MAJOR break problems after only a few hours of towing.

Then it tows easily and the dash can be configured with trans temp gauge, trailer brake, real time mpg and more.

engine light comes on goes off after driving 60 miles taken in twice to dealership, now fuel sensor failed now showing low fuel with 1/2 tank.

At 5k miles the "Fuel Sensor" failed so truck appeared empty and remote start disabled.

My only complaint is that the front and rear sensors in the bumpers are pretty useless in winter weather.

Bedt vehicle I've owned would highly recommend to anyone was not sure if I'd like diesel

Have the 3.0l V6 diesel and it is great on fuel.

I looked at the used Eco Diesel because I heard so much good about them.

Honestly, the value this truck brings is off the charts.

The bedcover and bed-liner really help me decided on this truck.

The truck met most of my needs  and is a very comfortable vehicle.

very comfortable to just drive around in, put in work, take the family around, hunt or fish, lots of power even just accelerating in traffic, the 4wd system is great, lots and lots of room inside my crew cab, the upgraded sound system is very good, and ive always been a big fan of the uconnect.

It has a smooth ride, is very comfortable, good power for a V6, looks great inside and out.

plenty of power from the 5.7 V-8, good MPG 18+ very comfortable, smooth riding.

Interior comfort is also good for a truck.

This is by far the best riding Truck I've owned, and the Air Ride?
