noise

The car  13.000 miles the radio lock it self total black the screen 
27.000 miles motor making a lot of strange noise

Developed a trans vibration at 3500 miles.

One of the issues still on going is a steering issue and clunking noise coming from what sounds like the tie rod ends or hubs.

It started making noise and I wound up finding out the lifters in the engine went bad! What?

Now it’s making a ticking noise and will be headed back to the shop after only having it back 5 days.

The vehicle is comfortable without the dreaded “Chevy shake” and transmission shifting is fine.

Ebrake triggered a warning message which was reset 1,000 miles ago no warning light since.

550 mile - 5 days old and the check engine light comes on and "reduced engine power" comes up as a warning - has to go in the shop

been with Ford for 40 years and nary an issue - 5 days with Chevy and i am without a car
SHAME ON YOU!! !

gear

Cons would be I don't like the gear sifter, it's very stiff.

Occasionally, the transmission will rough shift between 2-3 gears (when it’s cold outside).

failure

2021 Chevy Silverado LT Crew Cab 8 cylinder 5.3 Liter engine with DFM lifters failed on the left side at 17,000 miles and after repair the lifters failed on the right side at 19,000 miles .

So far.  .  GM may have redeemed itself over its past 1&#47;2 ton diesel failures.

The DFM basically "turns off" lifters so the engine will use less cylinders to save on gas..  so like it's running on only 6 cylinders instead of the 8.. only problem is the lifters aren't really designed for that so they eventually fail.

Nobody believes it’s a diesel because it’s so quite.

The Chevy with a the 3.0 liter turbo diesel is very impressive.

Diesel engine is quit with fantastic fuel mileage.

but the diesel has taken me and ran away.

I have been told that the back seat is comfortable and roomy.

Very roomy and looks great in all black with no chrome.

This truck is awesome it is very roomy and has all the technology gadgets.

ride

I am pleased with the quality this vehicle, the ride is great, performance is excellent, and inside 
styling is driver accommodating, and gauge cluster is very visible.

would not purchase another my 2020 traverse rides responds and has better comfort last time for silverados

Smooth ride compared to my 2020 Z71 Silverado.

It's also very comfortable and rides better.

Very comfortable drive, easy to go from 2x to 4x.

The truck is comfortable for long trips, regularly use the truck for highway commuting, and all the great camera views help navigating tough parking areas in large metro areas.

Has very comfortable seating, engine is smooth, transmission shifts very smoothly, very nice to drive.

Beautiful looking body design, great interior set up, very comfortable seating, lots of power n an amazing ride for a truck yet it still works as a truck should.

I've had a few older Silverados and this space ship could take you to the moon NASA!

It has more than enough room front and back, the air adjustments on driver and passenger side.

The Crew Cab has enough space for me to sleep in, and I’m 6’2.

2021 Chevrolet Tahoe

navigation

Navigation not working due to a software programming issue.

GPS will not work without ON-STAR subscription  which was not informed to me at time of purchase

However, it's common for me to lose sound in the car which includes my turn signals, radio, navigation, etc.

audio-system

Onstar doesnt work(wont connect and I cant hear them over my speakers, USB isnt recognized, nor the SD card, its freaking ridiculous.

Got engine back after lifters and it still sounds awful.

but tech says its a typo and battery is fine, alignment is off, check engine light and "check reverse rear lamp" comes on intermittently, electrical issues, truck trunk light operation is faulty, it comes on and off intermittently, passenger side door does not unlock from inside, infotainment issues- audio connectivity issues, system update failures that causes battery drainage, The audio volume increases unexpectedly, The rear camera malfunctions at random, displaying the reverse image even after putting vehicle in drive.

Vehicle locks down acceleration to 30 mph and tells me there is something wrong with traction control system.

The sound on the speakers isn't consistent either.

but 7 days after I bought it when it rained I noticed a strange sound like a water bottle moving on the side of both doors, I took it to the dealer and they don't know  where it comes from): I recommend that you try it before buying it by pouring a lot of water into it and running it, the sound is very uncomfortable.

Negatives:
- Apple Play Interface is unreliable&#47;messy
- Road Noise very prominent 
- Rough Suspension
- Numerous “rattles” developed (dash, rear seats, lift gate, rear glass, etc)
- Poor Fuel Economy (less than 15&#47;20 as advertised)

Overall, I’ve found the experience to price point very disappointing.

Smooth rides Magneric Ride Control is basically a poor mans Air Suspension.

There’s two flaws I can say this vehicle has is that it doesn’t come standard equipped with adaptive cruise control for all trim models and that the apple play connectivity is finicky.

At speeds below 5 MPH if a door is detected open and seatbelt unbuckled the vehicle will automatically shift to park and apply emergency brake.

but clearly breaks feel like they are slipping when I go to stop and intermittent burning smells. I put in a repurchase claim a couple of weeks ago with GM that was denied with the reason of : " The dealership service department is working to resolve issues with vehicle."

acceleration

I must say that the diesel engine for me was a no brainer.

The 3.0l diesel is incredible, I've owned diesels since '77 when I picked one up in Stuttgart, and I've had 6 since that time.

Diesel engine is superb so far, and music quality is on par with the best of standard options.

It is such a smooth ride with so much space and such a sleek design.

Ride is great, comfort is outstanding…so many option and features to it.

Chevrolet hit this one out of the park the fifth generation Tahoe is a very nice vehicle very spacious, rides unbelievably smooth with the independent suspension.

Ride smooth, not overly excessive road noise, good commanding view.

I ordered the "magnetic ride" and again the complete package is beyond incredible.

Rides smooth, handles great, compliments EVERYWHERE I go, The off-road package handles great on the mountains in snowy weather conditions.

The ride is night and day compared to the Silverado and previous Tahoes I've driven.

The 2021 Tahoe with the new independent rear suspension is like riding on air.

Very nice that Chevrolet has multiple options for each trim level of the new generation Tahoe you can pretty much put and take out whatever you want.

Features are numerous and for the most part easy to operate.

The safety features are top of the line and it’s across the board the best vehicle on the road.

Comfortable, back row seats being electronic is a game changer, do which you could permanently shut off the automatic shut off at stops.

Comfortable on long drives, plenty of space with the 4 bucket seats.

The electronics are fully loaded with all you need for comfort and traveling needs for long trips.

It has all of the new technology I was looking for as well as style and comfort.

2021 GMC Sierra 1500

engine

We have had to take this truck back to the dealer 3 times already because the engine light keeps coming on and the transmission jerking.

At 8200 miles, lifters on the right side of the engine failed, taking out a push rod and rocker arm.

I put a Range AFM disabler on it - no more engine noise and fear of losing a lifer and disabled 'stop&#47; start' too.

CHECK ALL THE COMPLAINT BLOGS ON WELL DOCUMENTED ENGINE FAILURES OF 2020 AND 2021 GM (GMC &#38; CHEVY)  V8 ENGINES.

Lifter failed at 6400 miles, repair took five weeks, engine still misfires at certain times, transmission shifts erratic during misfires

Remaining&#47;excessive fuel in the cylinder will mix with engine oil.

3 days later after putting 189 miles on it my radiator cracked and started to dump coolant out from the bottom of the engine bay.

I still don’t have a loaner and engine issues driving at 2,156 miles - They’re taking apart the engine no clue if I will ever see it and at over $1,000 month skip the truck please as I have to file bankruptcy now!

These are major malfunctions at the beginning of this trucks life and really make me question the reliability and longevity of this vehicle.

My transmission was making noises and I took it to Sheehy in Fredericksburg Virginia to see what is was a week ago and they said the transmission fluid had so much metal in it it was metallic looking.

JUST STARTED MAKING A KNOCKING NOISE, VERY QUICKLY FOLLOWED UP WITH COUGHING, SPITTING AND MULTIPLE WARNING LIGHTS.

The only problem I have is that there is a rattle noise in what sounds like the steering column.

Regeneration occurs with the fuel injectors turn on during the exhaust cycle.

My only complaint would be the lack of aftermarket support and the quiet exhaust

transmission

The transmission went out while i was cruising on highway.

You must drive the 3.0 diesel within the restrictions of the Diesel Particulate Filter.

The diesel got good gas mileage averaging 24 mpgs on a combination of city and highway driving.

Practical Great features my dog love it    Roomy I’m 6’5”.

This truck has everything I wanted in it very roomy comfortable.I like the interior in it Also the LED lights in the front and in the cargo area.

Great vehicle, the suspension makes it like you are riding on clouds!

It is a pleasure to drive; and rides and performs great.

Those riding with is also enjoy the comforts and safety features.

The ride is hands down the best in the industry.

If you get the off road package it is well worth it!

Also heated and cooled seats front and back Denali package with armt custom work 8k worth of extended warranties too much to list truck was 91k before the and warranties 108 after and it is paid for.

Gmc has all the exterior features so the hidden spots don't get scratched or road chips.

The all leather interior looks nice and it’s got pretty much every feature you could want.

Either packaged options and they would not, or could not order.

The features are super convenient (cameras, drive assist, adaptive cruse control).

Extremely comfortable and very nice looking.

It has the comfort of a luxury car, and the utility of a pickup truck. PERFECT.

2021 GMC Sierra 2500

The two best traits of the GMC HD are the smooth ride due to the independent front suspension an the fuel mileage of the Duramax 6.6L diesel.

First diesel, excellent fuel mileage, much more comfortable and roomy compared to my previous 2016 GMC 2500
New mirror location does pose issue with seeing people or cars (blind spot)
Overall extremely pleased

The new truck is ultra quiet especially for a diesel.

Its hard for me to imagine a better package in a heavy duty pickup.

Lots of bells and whistles - great features and pretty user friendly.

but not so much as to make it the easy option.

Nice interior features including heads-up display.

The ride vs a solid front axle is night and day specially if you’re not towing all of the time and IMO, the fuel mileage is about 10&#37; better on the 6.6L Duramax vs the 6.7L PowerStroke.

The technology, design and ride of the truck are spot on.

It’s ride is beyond any truck expectations.

Steering, road feel, and ride quality are great.

I am impressed with the quality and ride of my new Sierra AT4 HD.

Looks good, rides quiet and has awesome torque.

Getting about 23 mpg which is great for such a BEAST of a truck.

We think the 10spd, towing capacity, fuel mileage (thanks TFtruck for all the testing, ours appear to match), HUD, mirrors & cameras, and the towing tech gave us the right mix of features & value for how we use our truck.

2021 Chevrolet Suburban

If you purchase the 2021 Suburban, go for the Duramax Diesel, you won’t be disappointed.

Like the inclusion of diesel to the line up, as well.

As far as comfort these trucks are like riding in your living room.

With four kids this has all the space you need and rides smooth.

We love how it rides and is very easy to get around considering the size of the vehicle.

The size of the SUV is deceptive, it rides like a much smaller vehicle.

5.3L offers adequate power and the new independent rear suspension coupled with magnetic ride control provides for the smoothest riding Suburban, too date.

This car is a beautiful visual experience.It has everythi ng I want in a car.The color really pops.The ride is excellent.I can always look forward to driving it .It is an enjoyable experience owning it.

The roof rails accomodate the Chevy crossbars nicely and you can space them far apart for longer items like ladders and things.

2021 Jeep Wrangler

When I picked it up from all that it is now making a popping noise when I turn and is shifting real hard.

When I sold 06 Wrangler(at a great price for me) my wife was mad, she loved that stick shift, noisy, clunky, poor gas mileage car!

I've custom ordered my 4xe, waited for 3 months to arrive, and after using for little more than one months, now it's almost 2.5months at dealership with no sight when it will be fixed, waiting for a new transmission.

This willies wrangler diesel with sky top is the best jeep I have ever owned.

Fuel economy and performance from the diesel engine are unbeatable.

Very good condition, comfortable and fun to drive.

After a year and 8,000 miles I love it and enjoy driving it every day

It is fun to drive, not noisy at all, and believe it or not its smooth and fast

It is a fun to drive, even if you are not an off-road adventurest.

but the kid in me loves the joy of this Jeep.

but, it's great fun and full of utility for fire roads, etc and can handle the snow better than anything &#47; looking to add a teardrop trailer for camping and travel, canoeing and biking &#47; this is just right for all that .

I have the 2.0 turbo 4cyl with the rubicon package and it is very quick with little turbo lag and plenty of pull at all speeds.

but a loaded Rubicon offers many amenities found in a luxury vehicle.

The stock improvements in this package have made great strides.

The family loves riding in it and love all the options available by taking top and doors off.

I love the size, the color (Sting Grey), the amenities, the drive and I just love Jeep!

The electronic features are so important for safety.

The wrangler  has more features than we expected.

This particular vehicle has many exciting options.

2021 Jeep Gladiator

but I have had very concerning suspension problems at freeway speeds: On rough or uneven pavement the Jeep shutters / shakes at a point where the Jeep is not easy to control: In fact on two occasions, the Jeep crossed lanes: Unable to make contact with MOPAR as there web site sucks: Finally did reach a rep by phone: I need to bring it in for diagnosis: A test drive most likely will duplicate this problem as it comes and goes: Unless Jeep can rectify the problem, I will turn it back in as it is not safe to drive! !

Only problem is on-road road noise and window noise.

we have the diesel and its very fast on the petal and sounds and feels like a true keeper!

I especially love the diesel for its torque and fuel mileage!
