Also had to replace the Kumho tires with Michelin tires because the tire&#47;road noise was so bad and also there is no noise dampening material in the vehicle so we removed spare tire and Jack and lined with rubber and made it a little quieter.

Road noise is very noticeable and having a conversation with a passenger can be a bit difficult.

Cabin noise when driving on the highway is fairly loud,

This even after Techs from two different dealerships test drove and declared 1) "That is not right" (when he felt the vibration) and 2) described in his report to KIA as "Excessive Steering vibration".

but 95% of the time it is very good and on a windy day you get a little wind noise but not bad for its class, it has nice wide 235 tires with 18 inch rims and is not as quiet as my 2011 Grand Cherokee Overland ha ha but it is almost half the price and I am retired now and 29,000 was a good price point for myself.

We're actually considering trading the car off with less than 3000 miles, and we sure won't be going to the same dealership - they brushed off our concerns, screwed up paying off our trade in, and failed to give us what they promised.

I've had 3 issues with my 2021 seltos,  the first was when I was in Florida visiting my mom,  had approximately 3 thousand miles on it, the fuel light indicator was on, they said it was a fuel sensor,  took 3 weeks to fix, second time ,same fuel light indicator was on again,  had approximately 5 thousand miles on, had it towed to kia dealerships I purchased it from,  they said it was rodent damage and took another 3 weeks to fix, meanwhile neither time was I offered a loaner car or rental vehicle.

The only drawback I can truly say is the front collision sensor doesn't work too well when driving in heavy snow or slush.

I’m not a fan of their marketing of it being an off-road vehicle, the transmission overheats fairly easily when pushing the vehicle off-road so if that’s what you’re looking for in a vehicle this isn’t for you.

The huge fail with this car was niceties.

Other than those, I would recommend this car to anyone who is looking for a small SUV with power, comfort and safety.

Reliable, comfortable, fun, stylish and not outrageous in cost!

AWD standard in the lower model plenty of visibility and confortable on long drives .

It has plenty of room for myself and my husband who are average size.

Plenty of legroom for a small CUV good power in the non turbo version and alot of cargo room for a small vehicle .

Car all and beyond very reliable transportation and most of all space room to travel shopping sports gear with the children games and there team

Perfect for traveling with my family and has plenty of room for all of my grandbabies stuff.

Some serious cons is the vehicle speeds up when in cruise and you put on your left blinker.

When you go over a speed bump, no matter how slow the seats bounce with a loud clunk.

The cell phone charging pad is also a fail and I'm convinced it ruined my phone because it now won't charge on a surface charger.

I guess if I had never driven the earlier models with touch screen and the ease of letting the kids do the DVDs, I would not know what I am missing. FAIL!

I have a long commute to work so I have been happy with the gas mileage especially since gas is well over $4.50 a gallon.

34-36 miles per gallon, on a trip very easy on you body.

It was really similar to the fuel economy they said.

I love my van its very comfortable and smooth ride and save lot of gas highly recommended its much better then honda I am driving every day and enjoy my ride

The positive is better gas mileage, around 33 mph.

We love our new Toyota Sienne and the fact that it has a hybrid feature is amazing and will save us so much money on gas

2020 Toyota RAV4

battery

I took it to the shop and it was an additional software glitch that needed to be upgraded or it would drain the battery.

But the less-tna-full-size battery is an issue.

Since I've got this car,I've driven it everyday,an it only sleep approximately 6 hours,one day it didn't drive for 14 hours and the battery died,how is that even possible.They need to put out a recall for this issue,not only my vehicle,they are other people out there facing the same complication.

The vehicle has left my wife stranded twice when it would not start due to a dead battery.

Battery dead after not driving for 10 hour work shift.

Called dealer service department, Ben told me they just found out about a software upgrade last week that is supposed to stop the battery drain.

Battery was dead today after not driving it for 1 day.

Mine is an XLE, had it for only a month and battery has died twice.

Had the vehicle for 2 weeks now, drove mostly in city and gave rest for 1 day, the car won’t start, it says smart key malfunction, I changed the key fob battery and still the same issue, felt crazy it happened on the brand new car.

The other issue it had was the design of the fuel tank, which was replaced by Toyota.

The fuel tank only fills 3&#47;4 of the way.

I have owned this car for a year and weeks after buying it learned that I could not fill the 14.5 gallon tank as there is a design failure with the gas tank sensor.

The bad:
Don't Toyota's PR campaign fool you the gas tank design is seriously flawed and has not been fixed in the 18 months this vehicle has been on the market.

Probably, the only difference between the 2019 and 2020 defective fuel tank models is that the fuel level indicator is capable of showing a full tank

I am giving this a one star because I think it is underhanded and possibly illegal to have a known defect (gas tank&#47;performance) and sell these cars without fixing it or disclosing it.

However, they gas tank only fills up 10 gallons which is much less than the manufacture states it should fill resulting in less total mileage.

The battery and fuel tanks issues are real.

The mileage is poor for a hybrid and in reading reviews, I see that the gas tank is small; wish I read those before I bought this car.

Rough suspension and way too much road noise.

I have a small bit of buyer remorse, because wear hearing aids and there is a lot of road noise in my Rav.

The road noise is pretty bad, the doors are thin to make it lighter

I don't like the noise when driving on the freeway; it's so loud, like my window or door is ajar.

The vehicle has had a persistent rattle coming from the steering column and the dealer was unable to fix the problem.

I had couple of times and then it started with some kind of unusual noise.

The engine is a quite loud during acceleration,

Engine and battery make loud whining sounds when in park, reverse, or drive mode hold.

When punching the engine of the Rav4 you really hear a lot of engine noise, when cruising at a set speed the engine noise isnt that loud though.

- Engine noise is a little bit loud when accelerating.

Engine: So loud that I really need to volume up the radio so I don't get stress with the noise.

It centers you on the lane, automatically following gentle curves on the highway and gently assists you if it thinks you're drifting

Turns headlights on and off, turns high beams on when there is no oncoming traffic

Can use cruise controls in stop and go traffic and turns the engine off if you're stopped waiting for lights to change.

The loss in efficiency I have seen is when I have to accelerate hard at traffic lights or when the car is used for very short drives and the engine has to heat up lowering mileage (especially in freezing temperature).

Pick up slow, engine a little noise, wind noise, uncomfortable with the seat too hard, Apple carplay too similar.

Test drive did not charge the non hybrids car battery enough to experience the auto breaking so wasn’t till I already owned that i discovered when the auto breaking/ engine cut off and restart releases it’s jarring enough to think I’ve been rear ended.

Sometime, When releasing brake pedal from stop, the car shaking a little and engine roar a bit as the gas pedal is pushed down automatically.

service

Dealers service dept often expressed lack of awareness of the issues.

Toyota's reliability and customer service leave much to be desired anymore.

impairs the use or value of the vehicle, there has not
been an unreasonable number of repair attempts to the
same nonconformity or an unreasonable number of days out
of service for the claimed nonconformity at this time.

I was (sadly) happy to hear that it was dead for the service tech also and they had to jump it to get it out of the way and into the back.

Same issues as before - no dealership has an answer for this and Toyota states that they cant hear it when we record it, despite the service manager telling them that he hears it.

Toyota refuses to acknowledge the problem and the dealers and service managers are clueless and cannot fix it.

I love the car

One thing I REALLY appreciate is how quickly the AC and heating kick in.

Huge Toyota fan and I own a  2005 4 Runner which I love.

Love the big knobs for the temperature and fan speed.

I average about 28 miles to the gallon, and the Toyota Connect package is awesome!

but not much comfort as you can feel the road alot.

It has comfortable seating and an easy to manage control panel.

Front seat comfort only ok.  Fog lights very weak.

This by far the most comfortable vehicle I have owned for long road trips.

Roomy and comfortable interior, lots of cargo space.

Comfortable enough for an 8 hour drive on   highway,  crossing from state to state.

Lots of room in the back, fits my dog and all our camping gear for road trips.

there is space for our family of four, without feeling like I am driving a bus.

This car is perfect for my family, we're enjoying the performance and room of the car.

It can be even zippier than those cars I mentioned when in Sport mode, all while providing better gas mileage and more passenger and cargo space.

There is lots of room in the back and it's really quiet.

2020 Mercedes-Benz GLE 450

but in the middle of winter the headlamp has cracked and Mercedes doesn’t accept to fixing it and they said it’s physical damage while it is not an impact or accident 
After having 4 Mercedes in the row my next car will not be Mercedes 100 percent, I am absolutely unhappy and not recommending this car

Also, I am supposed to have variable level low beams, and I did until the dealer changed out my headlights while trying to cure the high beam issue.

Today it had the check engine light took it to the dealership and they said an electrical box in the back of the transmission got damaged OMG this is never ending tale.

radio

The remote batteries are good,  (2) The infotainment system, especially the radio requires too much eyes off the road timeThis is a safety concern.

The one and only complaint is that I can't channel surf the radio stations/favorites unless the radio screen is up.

heat/air-control

The very worst message says that radar sensors are dirty (Which they are not) and shuts down cruise control and blind spot monitors.

My only nits are: wish the remote start would heat the steering wheel and seats like my former Lincoln MKX; heated seats start lowering itself to off after a certain time (should let the owner decide when to adjust); and drive control arm is on the right side of the steering wheel, which is usually the wiper arm in most cars.

I’ve lost interest and currently drive a Honda Pilot (family car) or Jeep Gladiator (my toy) more often because I know they will not fail.

On the plus side I  like the smooth quiet ride and the great creature comforts of the seats.

The Comfort package has 4 types of massage, which is great on long trips.

Also lots of power, decent mileage and good handling, It has been very reliable, with no mechanical problems.

Traveling at 85 mph can feel like 60 mph.

Excellent, an absolute pleasure to drive, and mileage for a vehicle of this size is outstanding.

But for the price you should at least get leather interior, not that artificial look.

The styling from the inside out has been greatly improved with extra leg room in the back seat, duel screens for the driver and options for everything imaginable.

This car is a great car, spacious, intelligent, and overall good interior, and exterior.

The GLE 450 car is good with exterior and interior.

but makes a decent amount of noise for no reason at times.

Yes, the engine noise is annoying when it's working hard - which happens even on brief mild uphill highway segments.

The engine noise is significant when pushing the engine or climbing a hill.

The only other issue that has really been noticed is an occasional rattling noise coming from the glove box,

Driving experience is misery with loud engine noise, engine vibration, and slow acceleration between 22-38 miles per hour.

It would be nice to be shown some actual metrics instead of having to manually navigate to a sub-menu to show trip stats before turning the engine off

but do drop my speed to trade for fuel economy when contending with a couple hills on the way (one 1200 ft) where the car sounds like it struggles a bit.

Traffic Sign Recognition System doesn't work when there is yellow background. 2.

From a roomy interior and trunk, to the awesome gas mileage thanks to the hybrid system which is self-charging, I can only imagine it better if it were a truck!

Since purchasing the car in late June and after driving it only about 1,500 miles, the infotainment system began to crash unexpectedly.

CarPlay is also nice to use by using your phone to display navigation on the center console display panel and playing audio through the car's stereo system.

If we did it over, I would go for the "Touring Model", better seats, better sound, and includes Navigation, which I was a little surprised the EX model did not include,

The stereo didn't com with a CD and many of the touch screen options are duplicated in the dash informational display.

I have been driving it like a non-hybrid several times and my manual calculation when I fill up the gas tank has averaged 51 miles per gallon.

I had to warranty the steering wheel because it had some strange wrinkles in the leather where it shouldn't have been and the 9 gallon gas tank is too small.

35-50 mpg depending on temperature and how I drive it.

It's just something I never would've thought to research beforehand since temperature didn't make much of a difference with my non-electrified vehicles in the past.

Great Hybrid car, in cooler temps I got in the 40’s for mileage, in fair or warm weather as high as 60 mpg and about 51 on a freeway trip.

but I would add a tach, engine temperature  gauge ,spare tire as standard, automatic 8 speed transmission, the CVT Transmissin does not seem to be well syncronized, add an additional model to this line up producing an engine with more horse power.

Sometimes as low as 20 or as much as 47 for the same commute, with heater blasting in the morning.

Not having lumbar features in a 30k loaded model is a fail, not just an oops.

But having noticed it… And you couldn’t fail to notice it because it really is good looking!

Why pay for an electric car when you can get 50-60 Mpg for &#36;25,000?!

This is an excellent vehicle overall - I've owned it for 9 months and put 10,000 miles on it, averaging 47.7 mpg during that time.

Beautiful exterior and interior design and the gas mileage is just great
