The squeaking stopped now just 2 months later the squeak has returned and again is getting progressively worse.

Cons: price, feels top heavy on curves, small trunk, gas mileage, when you push head on head rest it pushes on your upper back and seat belts rattle if not raised all the way up when not in use.

The outlet is so low power that it won’t charge my bike battery.

The new Pathfinder looks great, like a Range Rover.

16 Aug

The 9 speed transmission shifts smoothly even at low speeds.

7 Aug

Also, the Shift Auto Idle keeps going back to on- on it’s own, even if turned off within the settings it still turns on, that is annoying as when you come to a complete stop it jerks/pulls and then bam it’s on auto shift idle again turn on by itself.

1 Aug

The Highlander interior is cheap looking, with some accordion material over the steering wheel.

Pathfinder has lots of leg room for me.

7 Feb

Traded my BMW X5 for the Pathfinder and I was amazed with the safety features and handling of my new Pathfinder.

27 Jan

We have owned 8 SUVs and Vans prior to this Pathfinder and the Pathfinder is the very best.

20 Nov

Love my pathfinder, the camera views are awesome, aerial view makes difficult tight parking a breeze.

19 Nov

If you own or buy a 2020 Nissan Pathfinder SL, and if your Pathfinder has the option "Hands Free Lift-Gate", you can not install a trailer (AKA Tow Hitch Receiver).

6 Aug

My Pathfinder has plenty of room for Family including grandbabies, the Engine power is very responsive and offers a smooth ride.

30 Jul

Looking for the most comfortable ride the Pathfinder RockCreek is it!

5 Jul

Along with superb reliability the pathfinder is superbly specified.

19 May

I must say, the Pathfinder is 5 times the vehicle the Ram was.

22 Jan

7 Dec

My only cons are superficial, speakers seem a bit cheap so the sound isn’t the best, I do wish there was a digital speedometer and dash display options, and I do miss amenities I had with my previous sedan like both front power seats and heated

6 Mar

18 Jun

Transfer case went out at 90K miles and the transmission has gone bad at 119K miles.

19 May

The CVT controls the rpm of the engine so no need to down shift.

They said they “recalibrated the brake switch” and “fixed” whatever the issue was.

My SL has the collision avoidance system which will hit the brakes for you if your not slowing down quick enough.

19 May

The only issue so far was the sensor for the passive cruise control failure (under front bumper cover).

8 Jun

The failure was sudden and without warning.

22 Jun

Well now it has 32,000 miles on it and it is a little over 1 year old and it had a faulty head gasket and the engine is shot.

17 Apr

Loud rattle noise near radiator.

8 Jun

but the road noise is awful.

23 Aug

Some of the interior can be plasticky and might squeak

2 Mar

3 year update: No major issues, small rattle in dash trim

I have been dealing with CONSTANT issues with the infotainment/ electrical system.

8 Jun

the entertainment system is just ok / it kept playing my Music

22 Jan

Instead we have to rely on their standard navigation system and require to pay a large amoun of money after 12 month to update the map.

7 Dec

My only cons are superficial, speakers seem a bit cheap so the sound isn’t the best, I do wish there was a digital speedometer and dash display options, and I do miss amenities I had with my previous sedan like both front power seats and heated

6 Mar

buttons that are not intuitive, its hard to figure out the heating/stereo/navigation, etc.Overall happy with the vehicle.

8 Jan

2) The information display seems cheap due to the low resolution of the graphics.

2 Mar

Some shortcomings I've found on the '16 PF include a dated navi system and slow processor when you wish to play music from a plug-in device (phone, USB, etc).

The car does not accelerate as good as my Pathfinder did,

7 Jun

It doesn't rattle or squeak on rough roads.

6 Jun

At one point on my trip I noticed a backlash noise in the drivetrain as it transitions from accelerating to coasting.

24 Apr

Road noise is much worse than the RAV or CR-V. Not pleased with this car, regretted the purchase within a couple of weeks, I can't believe I drove it for 2.5 years (although the pandemic slowed my car shopping down a bit).

9 Nov

Drove car 3 days, horrible noise.

18 Oct

At 7,500 miles, within a year, an odd noise started in the front part of the vehicle.

23 Feb

After a month or 2 it has a vibration & roaring noise.

14 Feb

My friends and family think the road noise is loud,

14 Jan

Since purchasing, I’ve had issues with the lift gate closing, the driver side window not going up as it should and last week I had a sudden awful noise in the back and the car struggled to drive.

1 Mar

However, in my overall opinion it was short of 5stars for the following reasons:- 5- Engine noise during rampant acceleration.

29 Jun

The CVT Trans is not bad.

7 Jun

A solenoid in the transmission failed at 36,000 miles

6 Jun

The transmission is CVT as opposed to the RAV4’s 8 speed.

26 Mar

CVT transmission has so many complaints.

25 Feb

Now at less than 77k I have to replace the transmission due to the cvt slipping and making the Rpms jump constantly Nissan replaced the transmission

31 Jan

Transmission is loud, trouble accelerating.

CVT transmissions suck!

But the real kicker was the transmission dying with 117k miles on it.

23 Feb

but the motor/transmission did not perform.

7 Jun

It doesn't rattle or squeak on rough roads.

23 Oct

The ride is bumpy, the visibility out the back and blind spots is poor, the exterior is already rusting, the AC comes on whenever we move the climate controls, and the fuel economy is lower than stated.

18 Sep

It’s not a smooth drive at all it’s very rough.

21 Jan

It's noisy over bumps in the road and the gas mileage is horrible.

8 Jan

During the time of dealing with the front suspension we received a factory recall to replace a air bag switch in the passenger seat.

28 Oct

The suspension is super soft so it doesn't handle like a sports car.

25 May

My suspension was bad after a couple thousand miles, the car made huge noise when the car is rolling.

6 Apr

Rough pavement is not exaggerated like a few of the others out there.

16 Feb

Make sure you ride in back seat before buying, it's an extremely rough ride over the slightest bumps in city driving and loud road noise while hwy driving.

14 Jan

As far as the drivetrain goes, the 2.5L 4 cylinder is a bit rough around the edges and droans with the CVT,

24 Oct

Handling is okay, it is not the sportiest, the steering is very light which makes it easy to maneuver around.

30 Aug

I also like the on the steering wheel functions.

17 Jun

Radio: AM/FM/CD/AUX, Steering wheel mounted audio controls.

21 Apr

It would stop the car as it approached steep hills, the headlights were dim and appeared that the plastic lens had multitude of microscopic bubbles and the chrome started pealing from the steering wheel.

18 Dec

I wish there was a selectable mode for steering feel, the electric assist is too light, would be nice to have a firmer feel to the steering.

17 Sep

And to top it all off, changing the radio presets with the steering wheel also works sometimes and then doesn’t work other times while the door is closed.

18 Aug

The seats are amazingly comfortable with no pains or aches after use, and the smoothness of the ride and steering is far better than the CR-V I tested (and I’m a long-time Honda fan).

That, and due to the nature of being steel-belt driven, you can feel slight vibration in the steering wheel if you cruise at 22 mph.

3 May

The car is also way under powered and the have already replaced brakes twice due to cheap disk material (not even the pads).

30 Dec

but the driver’s seat is too close to the break and gas pedals for 6 foot plus Americans.

24 Feb

They replaced the brake pads 3 times, calipers, rear hardware kit and it continues to make a clanking sound.

23 Feb

Our Rogue would brake slightly when it was unnecessary and took it in to the dealer as soon as the NIssan Corporation alerted us to it, to go have it updated.

10 Apr

Vehicle has sunroof issues window regulator issues master cylinder problems brake light always came on while driving and they could not find out why.

Within the first week we had too take the car to the dealer for the brake warning light was on.

14 Feb

2017 Nissan Pathfinder, excellent value suv.

27 Dec

Good stuff stylish nothing like the old pathfinder.

20 Oct

Though I still crave some of the ruggedness that my previous Pathifnder had, the comfort and new changes are more preferred and the new Pathfinder can still accomplish What my family needs from an SUV.

28 Feb

This Pathfinder has been a fine quality vehicle for us.

1 Nov

We have a 2015 Nissan Pathfinder and have to replace the transmission with only 80k miles on it.

12 Dec

The only negative response I give this vehicle is the cvt transmission.

18 Jun

Transfer case went out at 90K miles and the transmission has gone bad at 119K miles.

tough crap, warranty doesn't cover paint chips, even tho the body shop that looked at it says it's a defective paint job.

9 Aug

If you have time to go back and fourth to the service center and have plenty of time on your hands, then leasing a 2015 Nissan Pathfinder is definitely an option because they do honor their Warranty and you are not charged for the repairs.

12 Aug

Do not know what I will do when warranty is over.. Would not recommend this vehicle to anyone
